Hosting was so much fun, for the opening of Miniso SM Sangandaan!

I feel (MINI)SO special and (MINI)SO blessed as I got the honour of hosting once again for MINISO Japanese Designer Brand, this time at SM Center Sangandaan. A few days ago, I had the pleasure of being master of ceremonies for SM City Baliwag opening. We can revisit this wonderful time by reading about it right here: Marylaine Viernes hosts the inauguration of MINISO SM City Baliwag!

Thanks to Miniso Philippines, I find myself at yet another wonderful SM Mall, and this time, with superb talents, Andrea Torres, dubbed as the 'sexiest on the dance floor,' and the funny Andre Paras! Here is my first video, as I open the entire ceremony...
And here I was too, leading the ribbon cutting ceremony... watch!
But the best part?  As my family, friends and those who frequent my blog would know, the events where I get to bring my sweet son along are always extra special! First up is my handsome companion, Godric Matthew, with the sizzling hot Ms. Andrea Torres...

And here he was, shopping with the tall and handsome, Andre Paras!

How adorable are these three??? Aren't they (MINI)SO cute?!?

But more than these two celebrities who graced the event, my Matthew also posed alongside the President of Miniso Philippines, the distinguished Mr. Michael Hong:

And of course, I too had to take a photo with Mr. Michael Hong; such an honor to be their master of ceremonies for the second time in a row, for SM Center Sangandaan!

But here's the most special guest of the day for me... I am so happy that he came along as he too got to experience this phenomenal affair!

... and I am glad that my Matthew also got to know about the Japanese tradition known as 'Kagami Biraki,' which is an integral portion of all the Miniso store inaugurations...

Before I end my post, I would like to share my finds for the day, which were mostly 'essentials'. First, I now only entrust my skin to Miniso's superb facial washes; and second, I am crazy about the foot socks, they stay in place. I think I have more than 10 pairs already! And lastly I also adore the seamless undies from Miniso; top quality material at an unbelievably low price. Where else should I go now for my essentials, but the Miniso store nearest me? I say this all the time and I won't tire saying it: I love Minisomuch!

Tremendously blessed as the Master of Ceremonies of the 2-Day National ICT Summit 2016!

Here I was again, opening this year's National ICT Summit 2016: I was unfortunately unable to take a video myself but I'd like to give credit to Ms. Earl Suyao, thanks for uploading this video.
I continue to serve for the fourth year in a row now as master of ceremonies for the Department of Science and Technology's ICT Office's most-awaited annual affair, the National ICT Summit! Where the most brilliant names in both government and private sectors come together to foster further growth in Information Communications and Technlogy!
Thank you for trusting me again this 2016 to handle one of the most esteemed and empowering conferences in the region! Here I am opening the Day 1 festivities, truly thankful to be part of this once more...
As in the past years, I got to take home a ton of insights on what new in the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) scene.
With the keynote speaker this year, Senator Ralph Recto!
These two days brimmed with only the best speakers in the industry, from all over the globe, along with edifying presentations, and you can see how much I was enjoying every moment...
And as I wore my green Marthena Mercier dress for Day 1, I proudly wore Marthena Mercier again for Day 2, but in a festive white design. Some snaps from Day 2 below, and don't forget to check out www.marthenamercier.com for the finest trends today!
Learned from brilliant minds from the ICT sector, so proud to play a huge role here! Thank you and Mabuhay ang DOST-ICT, CIOF and the CIOF Foundation! Hope to work with you in the coming years!

'EATS' the most wonderful time of the year at the Yummy Magazine Baon Blowout 2016!

EATS the most wonderful time of the year once again!!!
Start the school year with a Baon Bang! Yes, so glad to be part of the start-of-the-school-year hullabaloo as I had the honor of emceeing Yummy Magazine Philippines' Baon Blow-out event 2016! Held at the Glorietta Activity Center, this was attended by my kind of people - the happy FoodNatics! But first, here's my opening video, as I welcomed everyone to the day's festivities, to walk us all back to this memorable and appetisingly, mesmerisingly Yummy-licious experience...
Here are a few highlights of this Foodtastic Day... loved how 'busog' I was this day! Got to go around the different food stations, one of the many perks of being the event's host! Catch me in a few of my Man-on-the-Street (MOS) segments below:
Talking about perks, check out the fun games I got to play too at one of the sponsors' booths! One of the many reasons why I love hosting events! An adventure each time!
TURNING JAPANESE, YEAH. Daiso makes my heart sing! I also got to bring home a bunch of goodies from Daiso Philippines! Thank you so much Daiso for the cute Bento set!
Yummy Magazine / Yummy Ph + Daiso = Perfect Baon Combination! Shop, Read, Eat, Repeat!
Thanks again to my superb Summit Media events guys and to the Yummy Editorial team for trusting me with your empowering events! Just like this big event: feeding the body, but most importantly the mind too! Took home a ton of cooking & baon tips and great memories! Every mom's a superstar at the Starworld Loves Moms event!

So glad to have hosted another terrific event where moms were the stars of the show: The Starworld loves Moms event, held at the Central Plaza of my most favourite lifestyle place, Eastwood City! Catch a glimpse of my energy and excitement in the video below:
Again, this was another big event I am so blessed to handle, and I was just blown away with the many exciting events and prizes for all those who came! Trust me, no one walked away empty-handed for upon registration, every mom will be given a rose instantly!
Just like this beautiful, beaming mom guest right here, she already got a ton of gifts, and she also joins me onstage for she gets to win a special prize during the raffle. This spectacular event for moms brimmed with a ton of game and raffle draws!
Always love working with this events team. On my right in photo below is Don Palafox whom I have known since about 2012... working with a good events team (they must be concerned, smart and snappy, not just there for the money) for an event as huge (and stressful) as this is a must!
More lovely moms at the runway show! How I wish I could have sashayed down this Mum-way Runway with my very own little boy! But nope, I gotta focus on my role as the emcee / events host...
Truly spectacular at every turn, I would like to express my utmost thanks to Starworld and the amazing Mith Manila events group along with Eastwood Mall for this memorable Mum-event! I walked away truly enriched in the facets of my life that matter the most...

Who's that Pokemon? Having a blast hosting Pikachu's Meet & Greet Party!

I've always loved watching the Pokemon series as a child, and in fact my favourites then, Squirtle, Charmander and Gengar remain as my favourites up until today! But of course, the world's most favourite Pokemon, and the main character in the series, sweet and loyal Pikachu, took centerstage in the much-awaited Pokemon Meet & Greet shows, as part of the Robinsons Malls 2016 Character Festival! I had fun playing and posing with Pikachu as much as I loved hosting this!
Are you ready, P? Pikachu says hello; she can't wait to meet all of you!
What are you whispering in my ear, Pikachu? Oh yes, that it's time to play games and give out prizes? It's Pika-Trivia Time!
These kids were more than ready... in fact they know the answers to all my Poke-Trivia questions!
With my love, Godric Matthew, who was first in line... I was just as excited as he was!
The cool Pokemon photo wall with Ash Ketchum!
My love, Godric Matthew and the other kids there were like, "Mom, can we take him home? Please, please, please?"
But do you know what the best part of the 2016 Robinsons Malls Character Festival is? It's that my beloved sister, Natalie, was also able to emcee for someone of our many events! Here's she is also hosting for the Pokemon Meet & Greet Party with Pikachu at another Robinsons Mall! Please also visit and follow her blog: natefridayblog.wordpress.com

My unforgettable Christmas with Disney featuring Frozen! (Part 1 of 2)

Let it snow... even if I wasn't able to spend my holidays in some distant wintery wonderland like what I have been dreaming of, I think I even had it better as I had a blizzard of blessings this cheery month, topped with the warmth of family, friends plus the newest addition to my hosting portfolio: Disney events!
Finally, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck let me into their magical realm, and my first project is Disney on Ice, led by an awesome Meet & Greet in four different Robinsons Malls with no less than Queen Elsa and Anna of Arendelle from arguably one of the greatest Disney films of all time: FROZEN! Let it go... let it go... can't let go of the thrill!
Above are two of my very few snaps for the first two legs, held at The Forum Robinsons and at Robinsons Place Manila! I was even part of the gang on tour, aboard the coaster as we headed to our next destinations... Queen Elsa and Princess Anna were actresses from the United States, and we also had some of the Disney Ice Skaters onboard too! They all flew in for this event. Can you see how much I am beaming with D-light? (Disney delight)
FROZEN TRIVIA: Did you know that this movie was based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale entitled, "The Snow Queen?" And well... the story wasn't such a magical tale as in the movie. Just like the original story of the Little Mermaid, which also written by Andersen, the Little Mermaid in his story didn't really have a Happy ever after... she just ended up as sea foam. But thanks to Disney Ariel has become one of my most favourite princesses of all time. But I am glad to have read the original story, when I was about 9 or 10. Yes, I grew up with tales (and tails) I will never outgrow the magic!

Meet my newest buddies: Mickey and D, plus Queen Elsa and Princess Anna!

Congratulations and Love to Elburg Ship Management Philippines!

No words can truly express my admiration for Ms. Procerfina Terrei, the lovely Chairman of the Board of one of the country's top ship manning conglomerates - Elburg Philippines. She also heads the International Maritime Academy, and also Augustea Ship Manning Philippines as she guides Augustea's President (her beautiful daughter and truly a wonderful friend), Grace Labrusca. Click Here for Related Post: Augustea Philippines 2nd Annual Crew Conference (Year 2015)  and while you are at it, check the first-ever Augustea Conference here too: Augustea Philippines First Crew Conference (Year 2014) honored was I to be the master of ceremonies for her 50th birthday bash at the Manila Peninsula... Here she is, looking all young, but a proud grandma, as she dotes on the kids of her nieces and nephews...
I was also very glad to meet the legendary Mr. Jimmy Santos - one of the most famous comedians in the country. Who needs Alden Richards when you have this funny, talented and humble celebrity in your party who truly livened up the already exciting night! He and the Chairman of Elburg, Ms. Procerfina Terrei are childhood friends...
And so now, we fast forward to the gist of this post: The 8th Annual Crew Conference of Elburg Ship Management Philippines held at the Blue Leaf Pilipinas, City of Dreams Manila. For this very special occasion, I tried to go for some High Seas Fashion: Check out my "Pirate-slash-Corporate" look below. Certainly, this photo below is all about what Elburg Philippines is about: ONE CREW, ONE HORIZON...
Ahoy Mates! My Pirate Queen pose as I stand beside one of the hard-working and promising young cadets of Elburg Ship Management Philippines that day...
Through this conference, we became abreast with the latest trends in the Maritime Industry, project implementation status and of course worldwide industry news straight from the distinguished Elburg Group principals...
I am still elated over the honor of emceeing for this year's Elburg Ship Management Philippines Crew Conference, on its 8th year, and my 2nd time to emcee for them. I learned so much from this event too!
Now spot me if you can in this sea of happy seafarers, maritime experts and our other distinguished guests... a group photo before the conference closes and we head on to the exciting evening gala...
We all enjoyed a (naughty) gala party after, where I seriously got drunk after 2 shots (of I don't even know what)! Forgive the bad lighting but do know that we all had so much fun! Kisses to Grace, Richelle, Juliet, Madame Procy, and the rest of the wonderful Terrei family and the Elburg group!
Photos below are all thanks to our dearest Anj from Creative Impact Inc. They are a superb events and creatives company! To learn more about them, click this link and visit their website at www.creativeimpactinc.com
And lastly, that night I was able to receive a very special pendant from Lowanna Philippines - thanks so much, Liza, for this beautiful cross pendant; still shopping for the chain that will match this twinkly pendant perfectly so for now this charm is kept in a very special place in my jewellery collection and in my heart!
Cheers! And please don't forget to visit my other official online resources below:
