What's up, Catsup? Welcome to the first and only Catsup Museum in the World... thanks to Nutri Asia!

Welcome one and all, to the world's first and only Banana Catsup Museum! Congratulations to NutriAsia, Inc.!
Thank you so much for letting me serve as master of ceremonies for this one-of-a-kind affair! Here I was posing with the #Bananions after the program and right before our fun and unforgettable tour...
This blog post is one of the longest if not the longest I've ever published here because of three things: I absolutely loved and enjoyed every moment of this hosting gig, this is a special event because I got to bring my son along and lastly, there are just too many cool photos taken and totally awesome trivia learned at the Banana Catsup Museum tour that I just have to share here! Stuff that blow your mind and make you proud to be a banana catsup loving Filipino at the same time!
Going Bananas. Who wouldn't love posing right here at the museum foyer? It's raining bananas... because here (and in our kitchen), bananas reign supreme! Reach for the stars! Yup, bananas (and banana catsup of course) are the shining stars in this museum!
The quirky banana catsup factory... you will be so enthralled! I wonder where my son is hiding... we're supposed to head to the Orosa Hall now. Hmmm, where could that cheeky boy be?
And here we were, as you can already see, at the Maria Orosa Hall. Maria Orosa wasn't just an amazing cook and food tech; she is heroine who concocted superb catsup made from bananas during World War 2, and she also helped save and nurture tons of lives during those very difficult times! People like her make me truly proud to be Filipino!
Banana Catsup puts the "YUM" in Museum! My Matthew going crazy over the replicas of yummy grub which you can pour your banana catsup on... he loves burgers in real life, and here in this museum too... Can you say MuseYUM! Hope to see you all at this awe-inspiring MuseYUM!
My little superhero defending the banana catsup making machine from the evil fiends of the Bananions... the Rotten Tomatooks who want to take away all the bananas so we can no longer make any more banana catsup for they do not want to share catsup supremacy with the hard-working, cheerful Bananions! Oh, why can't we all just be friends?
I absolutely love UFC, but as for my son, he just loves his Papa... Ketchup! Both UFC, Papa and even Jufran banana catsup are all proudly made by Nutri Asia. And for sure you've all heard the news that they've also acquired Del Monte in the United States about more than two years ago. It really is great to be Filipino!
And yup, like any kid, my son loves fried chicken and pouring banana catsup on his chicken (and also over every fried meal he eats).
Matty and I were totally banana blown away! Like this...
Patiently waiting for his turn to pose like me as I pour catsup on the replicas of another one of hi faves: burger and fries!
But nope, I won't let him have his turn. This photo essentially captures how we fight over the bottle of banana catsup at home. We love each other so much and I am usually generous with my son... but not when it comes to our favourite catsup! This is the Mom versus Kid Battle... or Bottle!
And now, here I was with some of NutriAsia's wonderful big bosses, Ms. Ampy and one of the owners... Special shout out to Sir James Lim of Marketing for letting my little boy join in on the fun; unfortunately we don't have a photo together for this event but I made sure we have a snap together for my second gig for NutriAsia (so please stay tuned).
But here's my very own big boss, my little VIP who probably enjoyed the tour so much more than I did! And I tell you I enjoyed it a bunch... get it? A (banana) bunch!
To end, let me quote the very words of my life's greatest love, in his catsup-crazy-drunk words in the photo below... thank You Lord, for my son... thank You Lord for banana catsup!!!
Hope you felt just how bananas my son Matty and I were during this wonderful experience! Thank you so much again to everyone from Nutri Asia and the Mind Museum! 'LEGO' have some fun at Lego Heartlake City!

We built this city... we built this city on LEGO! Finally, much to my son's glee, I've landed a Lego hosting gig! And now, say hi to Olivia from Lego Friends!
My big smile (below) says it all. I just love what I do. I know I wear the crown as the events hosting queen here, and I intend to hold on to my scepter (the microphone) for as long as I can!
Those who know me well as an events host / emcee know and appreciate the fact that I always come well-dressed for the affair, and I am proud to say that I am among the few versatile speaker / events hosts out there. I always look apt for the occasion and when it comes to kids' events such as this one, I totally come in my character inspired look, especially for the events I've done for Disney, Barbie, Monster High, Shopkins, Peppa Pig, and now Lego...
This was totally the look I was going for... well, at least I got to copy Olivia's 'do.
I am absolutely grateful for events wherein I can involve my growing boy. Photo above shows my dear son Matty brick-ing his back over his newest masterpiece... and photo below: Viola! His obra maestra! Am so proud of my little builder!
Thank you so much LEGO Philippines for letting me and my son have a grand time! You've definitely helped him achieve one of his many, many kiddy playtime dreams, and best of all... thanks for the loot too! Now we have more LEGO bricks to add to his already mountainous collection!
And the best part about our LEGO Friends playtime party experience was that my son was able to make new Friends! Hooray for Lego! Hooray for Friends! Hooray for Lego Friends!
Check out the grandeur of Lego Friends' Heart Lake City below... if only this was a real place... I'd love to hang out at this spot all day long...

It's good to be Bax: Hosting for Kriska and Francis Bacani's breathtaking beach wedding!

Oh to be in love! I may be wearing blue, but certainly not feeling blue as I lead the wedding of adorable couple, Kriska and Francis... The Bacanis, or simply Bax! Photo above with the beautiful couple at their reception and their best man, the groom's best friend, Justin.
Sunsets are simply awe-inspiring... what an honour to host for the Bacani's special day on such a breathtaking day!
The venue they chose, this lush coco grove resort proves to be such a magnificent backdrop to this very special memory, the first step to forever for lovers Kriska and Francis...
And I arrived with my very own handsome date, who was such a good boy throughout the night as his mommy worked hard to give the couple and their guests an entertaining and meaningful wedding reception program!
Set in a breathtaking beach resort, at Laiya Coco Grove, this super cute couple who have been friends since forever (by forever I mean college) were actually my batch mates in De La Salle University Manila. And today, they look youthful as ever and still very much in love.
I give props to Kriska who has been the coolest bride ever! She is no bride-zilla, she had been chill throughout the one year planning stage of her wedding, where she booked me already a year before the big day!
Thank you so much to the beautiful Bacani couple, and may this beautiful new chapter of your lives be filled with love, prosperity and happiness...
Cheers to a lifetime of joy and true love!

And thus the third and final post in this series, about our fun summer-tacular Philips Kulinarya road show is no less than the grand time that my Philips kitchen cooking partner, Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen and I had at San Lorenzo Village Makati...
We are at it again! Our funny, quirky tandem really works! It's where a pro (Nancy, of course) gets to work with a total noob in the kitchen (me, of course)!
But while Nancy Lumen is a pro and I am not... we both rely on one thing... our sturdy, trusty Philips Kitchen appliances!
And look how hard at work I was! The dedicated apprentice slash host/master of ceremonies. This is not just a super cool job, it's also a chance for me to learn from the best... Miss Nancy and Philips!
Check out the big crowd at San Lorenzo Makati... I think this is the biggest audience we've had for our Philips Kulinarya so far!

And now, as always, time to give away some fab Philips kitchen appliances as prizes...

Another Philips Kulinarya cooking hurrah... this time at Tierra Pura!

Welcome to the second of my three posts. Earlier I shared about our Philips Kulinarya adventure at Valle Verde and now it's time to drive to Tierra Pura. But if you want to read about our cool-inary time at Valle Verde, simply scroll down or follow this link: Marylaine Viernes hosts for Philips Roadshows: Valle Verde.
Love team. And I thought that the legendary culinary queen of the Philippines, Miss Nancy Reyes Lumen and I were partners... but look what, or who she's got here... cheeky Miss Nancy adds some spice during the raffle draw...
And I am not just the event host / presenter... I am also a product showcase assistant... check me out helping prep the items for the much-awaited Philips appliances raffle draw...
And it's a wrap! Thank you, Philips for such a fun time! Miss Nancy Lumen, my cooking partner and I with the events team and real-life partners, Carl and Earl... sweet!

Kitchen KOOL: Philips Kulinarya tours and cooks for uptown Manila!

The quintessential kitchen. Powered by Philips. Welcome to my Kulinarya Kitchen post where we all get to look back at the colours, flavours of this dreamy summer season...
The cooling colors of summer. What could be cooler than matching superb culinary talent with state of the art kitchen appliances from Philips? I am so blessed to cook and learn from the best: Philips and Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen as we visited various gentrified communities in the Metro! In my threefold blog post about our Philips Kulinarya adventures, I will write about our fun day at Valle Verde Pasig, and then Tierra Pura, and last but not the least, in San Lorenzo Makati!
Photo above is my candid "backstage-helping-the-guys-prep-up-the-cooking-demo-area" pose... Excuse the summer bead of sweat! Sweaty and the show hasn't even started yet! Let's reminisce some more about our awesome cool-inary time with the wonderful folks over at Valle Verde with Philips resident super cook, Ms. Nancy Lumen and her team...
I did not only learn so much about cooking but also had fun chatting up with the audience, especially the lucky ladies who brought home only the most amazing prizes from Philips! Check out the glee of this lovely lady who gets to walk away with a Philips juicer... wow!
Time to eat and try out the grub! Leading as the pack of Philips ladies lined up to grab some yummy grub prepared with love by Nancy Lumen in these superb Philips appliances!
