The cooling colors of summer. What could be cooler than matching superb culinary talent with state of the art kitchen appliances from Philips? I am so blessed to cook and learn from the best: Philips and Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen as we visited various gentrified communities in the Metro! In my threefold blog post about our Philips Kulinarya adventures, I will write about our fun day at Valle Verde Pasig, and then Tierra Pura, and last but not the least, in San Lorenzo Makati!

I did not only learn so much about cooking but also had fun chatting up with the audience, especially the lucky ladies who brought home only the most amazing prizes from Philips! Check out the glee of this lovely lady who gets to walk away with a Philips juicer... wow!

The day I became a Princess at Sky Life Dreamland, where dreams do come true! (PART 1)

I am truly so blessed to be walking the path of my dreams, to assume my different personalities each time I emcee an event. By far, and so far, the dreamiest event I've ever been blessed to emcee for was Sky Life Dreamland: A Magical Halloween! Being the host of Sky Cable events was certainly a huge boost in my craft as an events host in so many different ways. Thus I am forever thankful to the beautiful Ms. Chrissy Caballero and her adorable boy, young prince Lyndel, for finding me, by the cinders, and believing in the princess inside of me! 

Speaking of being a Princess... what can I say? Until now I sigh at these dreamy photos, when I truly took on being a modern-day Cinderella for the most magical Halloween event of the year! It truly was a day of magic, games and fun memories!

Bippity boppity boo! Hosting as Princess Cinderella at Sky Life Dreamland, a Magical Halloween! Part 2

"... A Dream is a wish your heart makes... whatever you wish for will come true... no matter how your heart is bleeding... if you keep on believing... the Dream that you wish... will come true..." This line from the Cinderella movie soundtrack remains fresh in my ears, for perhaps the child within me remains very much alive and hopeful. So blessed was I to become Cinderella only until this program ended, for Sky Life Dreamland, A Magical Halloween! Here are some more of my favourite snaps during the event. First photo, Cinde-Mary flanked by Spiderman, one of my fave Avengers (my other favourite one is Ironman), and my least favourite Avenger too, Captain America: 

ONE SKY. Here I am now at the SKY LIFE booth, interviewing one of the handsome booth princes here, as we talked about Sky Cable, Sky Mobi, Sky Broadband, Sky Direct and more... and right behind me is the beautiful Princess Belle...

Ready, set, SALE! Hosting & Shopping becomes my sport at Alabang Town Center's Red Bucket Sale!

I am a champion for everyone wins at the Paint the Town Red Sale, where I literally got to paint the 'Town' red thanks to the Alabang Town Center who trusted with their much-awaited, highly-attended main event, the Red Bucket Sale! Behold, the fashion stadium! Your only weapons? Fashion smarts and that coveted red bucket! 

This mall is very special to me for I grew up in Alabang Hills, and so before I get any more nostalgic, let me tell you why the Alabang Town Center's Red Bucket Sale, is extra special for me: It's because not only is the ATC one of my most favorite malls, but also because I got to share hosting duties with me lovely sister, Natalie Viernes. 

 My sis and I briefing the ladies (and gents) who came ready to shop 'til they dropped... then fell in line again. It's Shop. Drop. Repeat! 15 minutes on the clock... 

BUCKET ako napagod? Why did I get exhausted? Certainly not from hosting, talking non-stop or pushing the shoppers but because I too was blessed to have my own red bucket and shop away; and boy, was it so hard! So easy when I am the one just counting down the clock and giving the shoppers a pep talk, but it's so different when you're inside the Red Bucket Fashion arena! Check out my video below as I huffed, puffed and tried to squeeze in my items into my very own red bucket. I got a good workout! See, shopping is truly a sport! 

There were so many waves so here's another Day 2 video of me conditioning the Red Bucket athletes for the most exciting, exhilarating fashion ride this year: 

And this time... we get to walk back to Day 1... here I am opening this splendid day! RED-y, set, go!!!

And of course, events won't be complete without my cattle call! Here I am gladly doing some V.O.s before passing on the microphone torch to my sister for the rest of the afternoon waves!

It was such a memorable day! Here I am on the TOP Spot! I got to shop 7,000 pesos worth of items! Sweeeeet!!! We all can get used to this clothes buffet sport! Even the gentlemen who availed tickets had tons of fun too! 

Simply a RED-ical experience! Over 2,000 clothing items replenished after every run... 60 shoppers per wave... and only 15 minutes to full your bucket to the brim. Only this game puts your shopping, choosing, folding and stuffing skills to the test! 

 Ta-ta... Shop more I gotta!!!

A shower of joy and love: Hosting the second cycle of Smart Parenting Baby Shower 2016!

Hi everyone! Finally glad to be back after being 'MIA' for a while, thanks to my appendectomy (perhaps I should write a tell-all, graphic post about that soon). Anyway, this one now is abut my awesome Smart Parenting Baby Shower gig which was the last event I had before my emergency appendectomy... Following below is my sole video during the event is most special to me for it was taken no less than my very own videographer-artiste, the 7 year old love of my life, my son, Godric Matthew! As you may know, ALL of my Youtube videos are amateur clips only for the purpose of getting clients to see me in hosting action, but I'd say my son takes way better videos than the rest of the random people I ask to capture me in action! Here is the clip he captured: my opening spiels below... attaboy! 

My handsome little master-of-mischief meets my boss for the day: Smart Parenting's Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Leah San Jose... thank you Smart Parenting magazine Philippines & Summit Media for trusting me with all of your awesome and empowering events!

There were so many lovely moms that day... again, I only had my Pokemon Hunting son as companion so I was unable to take a lot of photos and so, a big thank you to blogger mum, Jaimie Felix (themermaidinstilletos.com) for sending me some of our photos. Truly a mermaid; especially your hair!

Empowered and honoured to emcee for the Adobe Digital Document Management executive event!

Again I am honored & humbled at the same time to be part of such an edifying executive talk: the Adobe Digital Document Management event, ushered in by Get Cre8ive, principal for Getty Images and a renowned Adobe Platinum Reseller in the Philippines, as we zoom in on the Adobe Creative Cloud. It was a beautifully intimate gathering for only the most brilliant minds from various creative, communications and tech industries.

I got to paint the town red (and wear red) as we all sat through a delightfully entertaining talk on Adobe Document Management Cloud and Adobe Creative Cloud products, learning more about these amazing products as well as learning product tips and the latest trends... 

Don't mind the face. Or to overly red lipstick. I learned so much and had a ton of fun during this empowering event. 

A big shout out to the awesome Get Cre8ive team especially Ms. Sarah Lumang and Ms. Bel Roxas who were super easy to work with. And of course to my friend Paolo Dela Rea of Straight Arrow, thank you for this, more blessings for you three and your companies! 

It was held in no less than the Willow Root in Manila Polo Club, the perfect venue to discuss a premium, cutting-edge creative solution! Adobe is such a brilliant solution and excuse my ignorance but I don't know of any other company that can provide what they bring.

I've been using Adobe and thanks to Getcre8ive, I've developed a much greater appreciation and deeper understanding of this solution which I actually have in my MacBook Pro which I never got to fully utilise! But soon I have to make the most out of these excellent solutions...  

And now please indulge me as I share the non-event related shots that evening... eI managed to sneak in a few poses in the Manila Polo Club that night before heading home... I can't help it, Manila Polo Club is among the most inspiring spots in the metro!
