Quantum Fun: Hosting for Quantum Amusement's Nite Life Party!

Thrilled and thankful to emcee for Quantum, the country's premiere family entertainment company where I got to share the stage with the fabulous Gisele Sanchez, who is one of the most respected Filipino comedienne-performers! Here I am below with the gorgeous Gisele along with Mrs. Ponce, the lovely wife of Sir Irwin Ponce, the owner of Quantum!
Back then, I would simply play at the Quantum amusement centers with friends and loved ones, most especially my beloved Godric! But now, I am so stoked to somehow be a part of their ever-growing family! Thanks are in order for the Quantum leaders, led by my beloved Ms. Olive Dacia, Vice President of the company. Thanks for trusting me to be the master of ceremonies for such an important company event!
Here's another photo of Olive and I, this time with their kind and brilliant boss, Mr. Irwin Ponce and the other global principals, who flew from the United States, Japan and Singapore to celebrate this special night.
Thank you so much to my wonderful Quantum family. More years of prosperity and fun to come!
Before we end, watch my video hosting this fabulous affair...

Ready, G.E. go!

So blessed to host the annual dinner and dance, the annual thanksgiving gala of one of the most esteemed companies in the world, G.E. (General Electric) here in the Philippines!
I loved its eccentric, avant-garde theme, reminiscent of pop superstars Lady Gaga and Sia! Or, the Hunger Games cast could very well fit into this theme's party too...
And here are some more amateur video clips of me hosting this unforgettable night!
I hope I looked eccentric enough, LOL. Well my hairdo surely did!
Lastly, here's my opening video... Cheers!
Thanks and please visit these other sites made by my friends too!

The night I hosted for a gold mine of beauties: The Miss Teen Bansud Mindoro pageant!

The Miss Teen Bansud Mindoro pageant mary-the-host
Exhilarated! This was exactly how I felt with the buzz going to and from Bansud, Oriental Mindoro and going back to Manila again for my other commitments! I was very tired and I lacked sleep altogether, but this was one priceless experience; truly one for the books!

Meet Max. This dapper dude right here is Max Closa, events host extraordinaire and my gentleman-partner for this memorable night. Our rapport onstage was as though we've been hosting together for a while, when it's our first time to meet each other! And, it was also my first time to be in Bansud, Mindoro, but he made me feel right at home...

It was one stormy, rainy evening, but nothing can stop the grandest, most breathtaking show that the entire Mindoro, not just people of Bansud look forward to. I would like to thank Mayor Angel Saulong and BJ Saulong for inviting me! Unfortunately I don't have photos with them (actually I wasn't able to take any pro photos) I only got this snap, with the Vice Mayor of Mindoro above...

And of course, I needed to interview one of the judges of the evening, the very handsome and brilliant Arthur Saulong, perhaps the future Mayor of Bansud Mindoro?

I loved this night... felt like a beauty queen myself too, just for one night! And the best part? The Question and Answer portion! With one of the lovely candidates below, looking all pensive as a tough question was being asked by one of the judges of the pageant...

Move over, Victoria's Secret Angels! These beauties paraded in amazing costumes too that spoke of the trade and traditions of Bansud, Mindoro! I am going bananas with this particular look... yes, Bansud is a HUGE producer of different kinds of bananas...

So blessed I was to spend one scintillating night with the most beautiful ladies from Bansud, Oriental Mindoro, as the co-emcee for Miss Teen Bansud 2017! It was so glamorous at every turn! I had first dibs on the crown, the Q&A, the list goes on! Photos below are a bit hazy, but each moment of that fabulous night is crystal clear to me!

Only time knows how great love is: Hosting for Stan and Cy's resplendent wedding gala!

Hosting for Stan and Cy's resplendent wedding mary-the-host
My big smile speaks of Gratitude. Not too long ago, I had the honour of serving as the master of ceremonies of a phenomenal Rock 'N Roll themed wedding bash! The gorgeous rockstar bride, Chie De Leon-Garcia, was my school mate at De La Salle University. Let's revisit that wonderful time here: Jerik and Chie's Rock 'N' Roll wedding bash!

I was blessed again to be entrusted with the great honour of serving as the master of ceremonies for the breathtaking wedding of another beautiful bride whom I have known since college, Cyrene Lois Bautista! I also knew her then boyfriend, Stan, back when I was also part of Pahayagang Plaridel, the Filipino paper of DLSU Manila during my time. Their love of more than a decade (and many decades more) simply inspires me...

Aaaaand, another portrait with this loving couple. Later on, I am pretty sure that I won't be able to take selfies with them. I will be busy onstage while they will be the superstars they will be for this special night and everyone else would want to take selfies with them. So I just had to catch this duo before the program started!

And now, more about the program, here are two videos I'd like to share... the first one showcases my opening spiels and the second one was our prayer of thanksgiving for this beautiful wedding ceremony...
And forgive me for my endless narcissistic snaps; it's just that it's the first time for me to actually appreciate the quality of the photo booth in an event... the couple's chosen photo booth provider was truly topnotch; as though it was taken in a studio...

Only Cherifer can make me dance like nobody's watching! Hosting for Cherifer's family fun day!

And I am back with Kuya Jazper for another awesome event with Cherifer Tangkad Sagad! But first, here's a look back at our earlier Camp Tangkad event, held at Marquee Mall: Marylaine Viernes ushers in genuine fun as she hosts for Cherifer!

So we sing in the shower, and dance like we can fly, to our favourite tunes, witnessed only by the eyes of our minds. While I am quite comfortable while I am working the mic onstage, I would say that dancing with my awesome co-host Jazper on the Cherifer stage was really the craziest thing I've done as of late! Here are some of my clips dancing thanks to Jazper and Cherifer Boy! Can you tell just how "Happy" I was here?
And here's two clips of Kuya Jazper and I, doing our opening & sponsor spiels, along with me explaining more about this enriching and exciting event's mechanics...
Now, in this clip, I get to interview some of our awesome participants...  click the play button to watch!
And more dancing!!! This time, we get to dance and play games and dance and play some more! This has already become a habit for me.. thanks to this event, I've lost all my inhibitions and dance when the situation calls for it...
We look like young kids don't we? I guess we will be forever young at heart... And we certainly love our jobs as events hosts. Like me, Jazper has a day job too, and we only do this on the side... ah the perks of being loquacious and loud!

Philips: Creating Better Lives through Meaningful Innovations

Being part of the PHILIPS Mall Road Show, which kicked off last 2013 has truly been an immense blessing and an unforgettable experience! It was my honor to be the Master of Ceremonies of all the PHILIPS road shows, held in the country's biggest malls. Being one with PHILIPS as they, through their Consumer and Lifestyle products encourage and espouse healthy, holistic and happy living.

This year, 2014, the campaign is coming to a close as we have just 4 legs remaining. But the gems of wisdom I gained will be further enriched as I share these on to others. Most importantly, the friendships I have made with the Amazing Philips team, and my fellow Philips Ambassadors prove that this is indeed something I will cherish throughout this lifetime.

TRIVIA: The famous PHILIPS logo show STARS and SOUND WAVES upon a SHIELD. The Stars signify its might, being the leader in its industry then until now. The Sound Waves recall their first groundbreaking innovations - radios and gramophones which played a big role in History. In fact, it was PHILIPS who introduced the cassette tape to the world. These elements are enclosed in the coat-of-arms or shield, is a testament to its founder's ingenuity, honor and integrity, which they continue to uphold today.

This is one amazing and inspiring journey, so let's begin with our first few Philips Mall Shows back in 2013...

Our first two legs were held at the Glorietta Activity area, and boy were there a lot of people. I had a blast promoting my favorite PHILIPS products, such as the PHILIPS AVENT steamer blender, which I myself am a proud owner of! This is perfect for creating meals for your babies and kids, and also with whipping up yummy and healthy soups, sauces and dressings for yourself! Below are my two favorite PHILIPS products which are just amazing in our kitchen...

The PHILIPS electronic pressure cooker, which lets me cook up dishes in no time. You just put the ingredients in and few minutes after, savor nutritious and insanely delicious meals!

And below is the majestic Philips SAECO Coffee Machine. My day is always perfect no matter how stressful it may be, when I start it with a perfect cup from my SAECO machine. What's coffee without SAECO, and without a Selfie

One of our Ambassadors, Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen, timeless kitchen goddess, taught the audience how to make your own nutritious soy-based drinks using the PHILIPS Soy Milk maker, and of course, cook delightful dishes using the Philips Electronic Pressure Cooker, while belting out a nice few lines in between! From Kitchen Diva to Philips Singing Superstar!!!

And now we head on to our fun Galleria road show! Below shows my promoting the childcare brand closest to my heart - PHILIPS AVENT! Over my next blog posts, I would like to recapitulate the many wonders of being a new mom, and how Philips AVENT has helped me every step of the way! Not to mention, trusted me to be the official emcee of most of their events for the past five years and I pray to always be part of our happy and growing PHILIPS AVENT family...

And to all moms, like me: we can't just let ourselves go. We need to look good and feel good for our partners, our kids and most of all - our own selves. PHILIPS has a wide range of superb personal care products that lets you look glam in minutes!
I already have my PHILIPS hair dryer, and I am going to get that fab straight-or-curl iron next. Below shows me introducing another Philips Ambassador (for the personal care line) who is no less than the very talented Ara Fernando, Stylist to the Stars...
This walk-back just makes me so thankful to be part of the PHILIPS Mall Road Shows! I'll be posting more of our exciting and empowering adventures soon. PHILIPS does not only "Continue to make better lives through Meaningful innovations," but also allows us to empower ourselves and bring out to best in us, with world-class products and their campaigns that inspire and unleash our innate creativity and brilliance.
