M.U.M.S. the word! Hosting Good Housekeeping's Modern Urban Moms of Manila (M.U.M.S) event at the SM Mall of Asia!

Mums the word... or are our Moms our world? Yes, God for Moms, and the people who stand as Mothers for other people. Nurturing, patient and kind, but at the same time, moms can be fierce too when it comes to protecting their young. And I am simply proud to be a mum, and about my love, fascination and adoration for my son? I can never be mum!
Another thing that gives me pride and joy is my craft as an events host. I get to make new friends, learn a lot, improve myself and just have a reason to pampers myself and pretty myself up a bit. As usual, thanks to Summit Media events for trusting me with their many awesome shows, especially this one!
Video above is Part 1 of my "Man on the Street" segment, where I as the program host went around all the awesome booths for homemakers and super moms and interacted with the concessionaires, guests and partners! I surely had so much fun. And part 2 is seen below:
Lastly, Part 3 video below. Can you tell that I had too much fun? Everyone else in attendance did too!
Reunited with old friends. So happy to work again with the people I've also worked with for some campaigns in the past, just like the talented and award-winning hairstyling guru, Ara Fernando who led a segment on beauty, hair and makeup! Below with Chef Roselle Miranda, Yummy magazine's food editor and in-house celebrity chef!

And let us not forget another favorite of mine, TINY BUDS Natural Baby Products! Here I am below with the lovely brand manager, Ms. Lorina Tan along with their award-winning and truly wonderful products! Find out why moms and babies absolutely love Tiny Buds, by browsing and shopping at http://tinybudsbaby.com/ I dare all you Super Moms to #SwitchToNatural! You won't regret it, and your most precious gifts - your little ones, will love you more for it!
Now, my part-time work for that day, mopping the events floor in between spiels, with my tongue out, mind you. LOL, thanks to my cheeky friend Liz for capturing this crazy snap!
So many super moms and dads came that day! I guess it's safe to say this event was a success! I apologize to my Summit Media family for coming a few minutes prior to the event starting, causing them to have a slight panic attack... But see, I am making up for it - cleaning up the sponsors booth. Thanks for all my past and future Summit Media gigs!
And another video below, thanks again to my super blogger friend, Liz, for capturing and sending this to me:

Another Dream comes alive at the Sky Life Dreamland...

"Don't dream your life away... Live out your dreams each day..."
Yes, I can say that this wonderful adage truly applies to my life now. While I am far away from my ultimate dream, I can say that I am truly living my dream - as a professional events host - all thanks to wonderful people who believe in me, especially my beautiful Ms. Chrissy Cabellero and the rest of the wonderful SkyLife heads! Click this link for my video clip: opening this Sky-riffic event: Marylaine Viernes Youtube Channel - SKYLIFE Event Opening
I will forever be thankful for the faith entrusted to me, especially in our latest event: SKYLIFE DREAMLAND, The Adventure Continues! Please like the page tolearn more about the event and to be part of more Sky's future events, please like and follow this link: SkyLife Dreamland Facebook Page
I LAB You. I truly LAB what I do as host and I especially loved The Lab! I enjoyed this awesome new booth for there were so many new things I learned here, and am certain that all the kids LAB this corner too!
Hostperimentation. That's when the event host tries out the super cool experiments & inventions!
Backstage with the Gang - the talented team from Alice in Wonderland! Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts and the lovely Alice! We all went crazy over this cool quartet!
This event is for the kids and kids-at-heart who believe in the beauty of our dreams! But what makes this event special is that this is also about honing those little dreamers through exciting experiences that enhance problem-solving skills, critical thinking, EQ and other important tools that will help us all when finally, the roads to our dreams open!
It was my honour to host and play games with the mums, dads and kids, and somehow help them believe in magic! The winners weren't just the kids onstage who won big prizes, but everyone who came for there were tons of freebies!
Thank you Sky Life, for your faith and generosity in letting me live out one of my biggest passions and dreams as an events host. I pray for more adventures to come with you and your awesome event organizer, Global Visions Events in the next year!

From Queen Elsa back to Cinderella. Lastly, here I am again, back to the cinders of real life thank you for allowing me to transform whenever I emcee for each mesmerizing event! Each event with Sky Life is a dream come true! Below is my pre-event "in-rags" poor Miss Cinderella look... Lovin' how I am able to live out my very own fairy tale!
A sweet treat. Right after the fun and exhilarating party, cheers to Maya for treating the kids and kids at heart (like me) to cheery cupcakes that brought out our creativity! Can you spot the colors of Christmas?
"Let your dreams be greater than your fears, and your actions louder than your words... may we all let Faith in God, Gratitude and Persistence lead us all to where we ought to be..."

Celebrating my memorable birthday with Thomas and Friends!

I spent every day of this week with a-TRAIN-aline (adrenaline) rush, as it had been so fantastic turning a year older - but still staying a child-at-heart! I greatly believe that my son and my work as an events host really keeps me young at heart and spirit and hopefully I won't look as old as I really am, too! May the good times remain and become greater!

This year was indeed special - for I celebrated the eve of my 17th birthday alongside Thomas the Train aka Thomas the Tank Engine's 70th birthday at the SM Mall of Asia! (Yes, I am only 17! Alright, fine... It's my 17th birthday for the 12th time!) I spent the day hosting with my son and his adorable little friends as they choo-chooed along the fun tracks with Thomas and Friends! We played games, listened to stories and even sang Thomas a Happy Birthday song!
Above: These adora-boys aboard the story express... and below I play more games with the kids and hope that I didn't disappoint them in my Train Conductor outfit... though I do need to lose weight otherwise, I will soon be Miss Mary Topham Hatt - the Fat Female Controller!
And here I am below with the adorable Fat Controller, Sir Topham Hatt!
Lastly, Thank you so much to my wonderful Richprime Global Family and welcome back, Ms. Julie! Glad you are once again Fisher Price's beautiful, hard-working and dedicated brand manager!
Lord, Thank You for giving me another year of life and the chance to become better than I was before. I am grateful of Your endless mercy that even with the mistakes I've made, you have blessed me with so much more, and make me hopeful that I can look forward to a brighter Life with You and the people You bring into my life who let me feel Your Love. Bless me and my family always that I may be able to do what I love to do, and be enriched in all aspects, and protect us from all evil as we grow in You. Lead me closer to my dreams each day, and remind me always that I am nothing without You. Amen.
