Let's get it on with Netpoleon! Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the Netpoleon Solutions Day

Unleashed my Superpowers yet again, with the microphone as my sword! I am truly so blessed to be master of ceremonies for the Netpoleon Solutions Day. Calling Diana Prince; I need to play wonder woman for a day... I actually was in a villainous situation for I was asked to come in a look that echoed the day's theme, 'Superheroes,' while still looking all decent and corporate, for this was still an affair led by one of the most distinguished names in IT, NETPOLEON. So this was what I came up with:

I used a bright blue dress, a red cardigan and made my own accessories using yellow ribbon and red foam paper to make myself a belt and those wonder woman wrist bands. Now I am ready for anything! I was determined to be the superhero of this day; and it all starts with the outfit... gotta look the part when I play the part! 

The Netpoleon Solutions Day is an ICT event held at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier, and here I was with the best and the brightest of the ICT industry... I guess you can say that they're the superheroes of this booming, ever-dynamic industry!  

I'd like to caption this next photo, 'Wonder woman meets Superman...' Though he has yet to shed his Clark Kent look! Or this can be 'Lois Lane with Clark Kent!' By the way, my name is 'Marylaine Louise'... kinda sounds like a jumbled 'Lois Lane,' right? 

So this photo above shows me sharing the stage with one of the esteemed guests during the audience Q & A, and I guess it's so obvious how we were so much into the Superheroes theme with our 'superhero' poses, we got so carried away! Let me say, "Up, up and away!"

And of course, since this blog is dedicated to showcase my craft as an events host and serve as a quick-look resource for many clients who would like to get me for some of their events, here are a few of my videos in action when I hosted this super amazing day...

And now, here's the video of me doing my pre-show voice-over spiels... I would like to think I have a supersonic, adjustable voice that proves helpful in my chosen battle field, with the microphone as my main weapon and my cue cards as my shield...

Lastly, this video (it's quite funny as I just asked one of the tech booth guys to do this, and he kept taking videos of all the other things there, but it's all good) is where I wrapped up this phenomenal, aptly themed show! The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice finds its new home at the SM Mall of Asia Arena!

It's the most wonderful time... of the year... I've been humming this tune since I met Mickey Mouse once again! So honoured that Feld Entertainment, producer of Disney On Ice, loved my performance from last year's Meet & Greet events with Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, and I learned that they specifically requested the SM Lifestyle & Entertainment group (whose movie events I've hosted such as the exciting launch of the SM Cinema Family Movie Day (For past blog post, click here)  and the Disney Pixar Inside Out Press Screening Party) to have me as master of ceremonies for this year's press launch where we celebrated a very special milestone this year: Disney On Ice finds its new home in no less than the SM Mall of Asia Arena! 

It was just a super memorable day! I am happy to be reunited with my friend, Mickey Mouse! He came all the way from Japan just to attend the press launch of Disney On Ice 2017! I styled myself a la Disney to make myself worthy of being the master of ceremonies of this magical 'Frozen' kingdom! For the first time in forever again this year, I lived out the Disney Princess in me... yes because there is a Disney Prince or Princess (and sometimes a Disney villain) in all of us! 

Now with Mr. Arnel Gonzales, the AVP of MOA Arena and Mr. Blake Tatroe, Regional Head of Disney On Ice and Feld Entertainment... 

Blake Tatroe, Regional Head of Disney On Ice hands the very first ticket for Disney on Ice at the MOA Arena to the President of SMLEI, Ed Tejerero and Arnel Gonzales, AVP of MOA Arena as Mickey Mouse looks on with so much excitement and joy!

Hosting the Detail Makeover brand launch: A world-class brand that is proudly Filipino at heart!

Posing at the Cosmetix Unlimited photo wall for the Detail Makeover brand launch. Guess you can see just how delighted I am to be part of this pink-hilarating rock chic glam affair!  

But first of all, a rockin' shout-out to my lovely ate / sister from another mother, the gorgeous Ms. Hazel Andres for getting me in all of her stints! And of course, a big hug to the warm and beautiful brand manager of Detail Makeover, Ms. Monika Deveas who is a superb mommy blogger too! I also got to interview Monika below. as she shared the product history.

Until now I can't believe that I was given the honor of being the emcee for the press launch of this marvellous event attended by the most fashion-forward bloggers, members of the press and we had sexy models in the house too! So let us dive into more 'Details' of this pink hot affair... 

 Every detail was well put-together. I felt like a rockstar, totally! 

We all fell in love with the black and hot pink theme of the event! A bit of black, a bit of pink, because Detail Makeover is targeted to a very wide age range and across all gender preferences. Cool, huh?

Hosting the fantastic intergalactic gala to celebrate 25 successful years of Guill-Bern Corporation

No words can best describe the glory of that scintillating of that evening, when I was honored to be master of ceremony during the 25th Anniversary celebration of Guill-Bern Corporation, held at the Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas Center. Here I am with the company's lovely founder herself, a woman of wisdom, Ms. Lourdes Delos Reyes.

With its theme, 'Breakthrough to Excellence,' this event sky-rocketed with an aptly mesmerising and well-conceptualised futuristic look, where I had the chance to come in as space queen in my best black and silver outfit! It was truly out of this world, with guests from principals from all over the globe, and local partners composed of only the most esteemed and reputable private companies engaged in the ever-dynamic medical business. Below are a few clips as I emceed the event:

Exceeding my vision as I host for EPSON not just once but twice! Yes, it's EPSON for life!

Let's Get it on with EPSON has been my usual battle cry. For the past two years, I had been so blessed to be their master of ceremony for their annual business reviews and awards nights. This year, I have been doubly blessed as I was able to emcee for not just one, but two big recognition and business reviews, something which I will forever cherish and look forward to doing for the coming years. A big, big thank you to Sir Jeff Marasigan who first believed in me, and then to the rest of his team mates who allowed me to grow with them and celebrate their years of success! Let me begin with Moving Up Together, which was held at the Isla Ballroom of Shangri-la Hotel... my was it one unforgettably exquisite night! 

The ballroom was packed! Surely, this year saw to more guests than past two years' annual business review and awards night events...

There were so many sweet treats that night... check out these wonderful, dainty, bite-sized pastries: madeleines and cheesecakes bites... if I wasn't hosting that night I would've eaten more! Truly yummy and made extra special for they were personalized... no, more like EPSONalized or EPSONified!

And a week before Moving Up Together with EPSON (where I had my hair straight and my clothes the color of the EPSON brand), I also had the honor of hosting for EPSON, but this time for the consumer division led by Ms. Theresa Tuazon Javalera. This time it was held at the hottest club in town: Revel at the Palace, Uptown BGC! The perfect venue for the hottest brand in the market! Is this hot or too cool!?!

Isn't it obvious that I had so much fun? Speaking as we celebrated business success and strong relationships...  and then enjoying phenomenal music and vibes after... yes, right after our memorable programme, we partied the Epson way! 

 I love EPSON Philippines forever... of course, here I am doing the ceremonial 'stand beside the banner for branding' pose! Thank you and more power to EPSON!

Summer's hottest events: UST Unending Race, Takbo Tomasino and the TXTFIRE Olympics 2016!

Summer's the hottest it has ever been and I don't just mean the temperature! It's been a whirlwind of events and there was this one weekend where I had five events... I still wonder now how I mustered to squeeze in all of those! Plus, there's a ton of pending events to blog about, so I am doing my posts two events in one go; so now I begin with the UST Fun Run, entitled, "Takbo Tomasino," with a 4 am call time, but it was the coolest, swiftest event and it ran fast as the Tomasian participants! 

Excuse the terrible 4 am "I woke up like this" look. It was so early, it was still so dark! Below in my usual nerdy self. Anyway I am bound to get sweaty under the heat, with my spiels as sweat spills... 

 Thank you my beloved JC (extreme left) for enlisting me for this event. We're both from different universities (I will forever be grateful to DLSU Manila, Animo La Salle!) but we are glad to work with the Thomasians. Thanks to Dorothy too, number 1 events lady (her shirt says it too). And to this guy on my right in the photo, I don't know who you are and why you joined our photo but it's all good; Congratulations to UST for the successful Unending Race: Takbo Tomasino 2016! 

And it was on this same day that I quickly showered and changed for OOTD # 2, as I got ready to host for another one of TXTFIRE Olympics' fantastically fiery events! I am thankful to be working with these awesome guys since the first event I had with them sometime in 2011 - for the first ever TXTFIRE Olympics and wow, they are now on their 6th year! But more than that, I am thankful for each and everyone of these volunteer firefighters, for whom this tilt is being organized. 

Fashion Ins-FIRE-ation. Now, for my OOTD # 2 I'd like to all this, FIRE INSFIRED! Don't you think that lower part of this dress is reminiscent of dancing flames? With an ash black top and of course a hint of purple around the waist, with this uber 'Ube' sash in honour of Mr. Ube, Gerry Chua, founder of Eng Bee Tin and the kind-hearted visionary behind this all... Reading the flow of the program; we don't usually go by the script; we are as free to move as the flames... 

With our trusty Kuya Neal, who's been our floor director and guide since the very first TXTFIRE Olympics in 2011... Here he is giving directions to Joyce and I... in my fire-inspired dress and my co-host Joyce in her Minnie-culously cute outfit; as our DJ West looks on as photo bomber. LOL.

Mabuhay ang mga tunay na bayani: ang bumberong Pilipino! 

As to be expected, this event was scorching hot, but we kept our cool... talk about the coolest co-hosts, this year I get to team up with professional stand-up comedienne, Jelly Joyce with with comedian-singer extraordinaire, Noel! And let's not forget our talented DJ West!

The TXTFIRE Squad. We provided the voices and sounds in this meaningful affair and we are so thankful for the chance to do so! Brilliant and funny people to work with made things easy under the blazing sun; everything was perfect on set... and speaking of set, check out this breathtaking sunset...

And as no matter how hot the sun blazes, it gives way to night. I'd like to share that no matter how hard I work, I always look forward to coming home to (or in this case, being fetched by) the reason for all my intense hard work... this young lad, my greatest joy. He respects and admires the fire fighters, especially with how we witnessed firsthand a fire within our village! And the best part? He got to check out one of the many fire trucks surrounding the TXTFIRE OLYMPICS grounds. Cool!
