Let's get it on with Netpoleon! Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the Netpoleon Solutions Day

Unleashed my Superpowers yet again, with the microphone as my sword! I am truly so blessed to be master of ceremonies for the Netpoleon Solutions Day. Calling Diana Prince; I need to play wonder woman for a day... I actually was in a villainous situation for I was asked to come in a look that echoed the day's theme, 'Superheroes,' while still looking all decent and corporate, for this was still an affair led by one of the most distinguished names in IT, NETPOLEON. So this was what I came up with:

I used a bright blue dress, a red cardigan and made my own accessories using yellow ribbon and red foam paper to make myself a belt and those wonder woman wrist bands. Now I am ready for anything! I was determined to be the superhero of this day; and it all starts with the outfit... gotta look the part when I play the part! 

The Netpoleon Solutions Day is an ICT event held at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier, and here I was with the best and the brightest of the ICT industry... I guess you can say that they're the superheroes of this booming, ever-dynamic industry!  

I'd like to caption this next photo, 'Wonder woman meets Superman...' Though he has yet to shed his Clark Kent look! Or this can be 'Lois Lane with Clark Kent!' By the way, my name is 'Marylaine Louise'... kinda sounds like a jumbled 'Lois Lane,' right? 

So this photo above shows me sharing the stage with one of the esteemed guests during the audience Q & A, and I guess it's so obvious how we were so much into the Superheroes theme with our 'superhero' poses, we got so carried away! Let me say, "Up, up and away!"

And of course, since this blog is dedicated to showcase my craft as an events host and serve as a quick-look resource for many clients who would like to get me for some of their events, here are a few of my videos in action when I hosted this super amazing day...

And now, here's the video of me doing my pre-show voice-over spiels... I would like to think I have a supersonic, adjustable voice that proves helpful in my chosen battle field, with the microphone as my main weapon and my cue cards as my shield...

Here's the video of raffle draw where I tried to make the winner unleash his dance powers... but my superpowers weren't enough...

Lastly, this video (it's quite funny as I just asked one of the tech booth guys to do this, and he kept taking videos of all the other things there, but it's all good) is where I wrapped up this phenomenal, aptly themed show! A shower of joy and love: Hosting the second cycle of Smart Parenting Baby Shower 2016!

Hi everyone! Finally glad to be back after being 'MIA' for a while, thanks to my appendectomy (perhaps I should write a tell-all, graphic post about that soon). Anyway, this one now is abut my awesome Smart Parenting Baby Shower gig which was the last event I had before my emergency appendectomy... Following below is my sole video during the event is most special to me for it was taken no less than my very own videographer-artiste, the 7 year old love of my life, my son, Godric Matthew! As you may know, ALL of my Youtube videos are amateur clips only for the purpose of getting clients to see me in hosting action, but I'd say my son takes way better videos than the rest of the random people I ask to capture me in action! Here is the clip he captured: my opening spiels below... attaboy!

There were so many lovely moms that day... again, I only had my Pokemon Hunting son as companion so I was unable to take a lot of photos and so, a big thank you to blogger mum, Jaimie Felix (themermaidinstilletos.com) for sending me some of our photos. Truly a mermaid; especially your hair!

M.U.M.S. the word! Hosting Good Housekeeping's Modern Urban Moms of Manila (M.U.M.S) event at the SM Mall of Asia!

Mums the word... or are our Moms our world? Yes, God for Moms, and the people who stand as Mothers for other people. Nurturing, patient and kind, but at the same time, moms can be fierce too when it comes to protecting their young. And I am simply proud to be a mum, and about my love, fascination and adoration for my son? I can never be mum! 

Another thing that gives me pride and joy is my craft as an events host. I get to make new friends, learn a lot, improve myself and just have a reason to pampers myself and pretty myself up a bit. As usual, thanks to Summit Media events for trusting me with their many awesome shows, especially this one!

Video above is Part 1 of my "Man on the Street" segment, where I as the program host went around all the awesome booths for homemakers and super moms and interacted with the concessionaires, guests and partners! I surely had so much fun. And part 2 is seen below:

Reunited with old friends. So happy to work again with the people I've also worked with for some campaigns in the past, just like the talented and award-winning hairstyling guru, Ara Fernando who led a segment on beauty, hair and makeup! So many super moms and dads came that day! I guess it's safe to say this event was a success! I apologize to my Summit Media family for coming a few minutes prior to the event starting, causing them to have a slight panic attack... But see, I am making up for it - cleaning up the sponsors booth. Thanks for all my past and future Summit Media gigs!
