Only Cherifer can make me dance like nobody's watching! Hosting for Cherifer's family fun day!

And I am back with Kuya Jazper for another awesome event with Cherifer Tangkad Sagad! But first, here's a look back at our earlier Camp Tangkad event, held at Marquee Mall: Marylaine Viernes ushers in genuine fun as she hosts for Cherifer!

So we sing in the shower, and dance like we can fly, to our favourite tunes, witnessed only by the eyes of our minds. While I am quite comfortable while I am working the mic onstage, I would say that dancing with my awesome co-host Jazper on the Cherifer stage was really the craziest thing I've done as of late! Here are some of my clips dancing thanks to Jazper and Cherifer Boy! Can you tell just how "Happy" I was here?
And here's two clips of Kuya Jazper and I, doing our opening & sponsor spiels, along with me explaining more about this enriching and exciting event's mechanics...
Now, in this clip, I get to interview some of our awesome participants...  click the play button to watch!
And more dancing!!! This time, we get to dance and play games and dance and play some more! This has already become a habit for me.. thanks to this event, I've lost all my inhibitions and dance when the situation calls for it...
We look like young kids don't we? I guess we will be forever young at heart... And we certainly love our jobs as events hosts. Like me, Jazper has a day job too, and we only do this on the side... ah the perks of being loquacious and loud!

Fun and Laughter with Cherifer: Create Genuine Fun Day, Camp Tangkad Sagad!

We all know Cherifer CGF stands for "Chlorella Growth Factor." But for me and the rest of Cherifer loves who came to Camp Tangkad Sagad, CGF now means: Create Genuine Fun! I co-hosted with momentous event with the amazing Jazper Tiongson! Only he can challenge my super energy when I emcee. But I guess he beats me because he dances and flies too! Am still working at it... So, walking back, here's my one and only video taken right after my partner Jazper and I closed the program where I invited them to stay until 7 pm for the amazing booths and freebies! Such a bright and vibrant event it was... Simply YELLOW-riffic!
First of all, thank you to my wonderful Sky Life family, especially Ms. Chrissy Caballero and her handsome smart son, Lyndel for discovering me and the rest is history. Photo below also features Ariel from Sky Cable too. And let's not forget my Global Visions Events and Marketing Network Inc. family - the best events group I could ever work with: fair, generous, kind and so easy to work with and all of our events are simply superb! I love them even the very professional floor & event director they get. Can't wait to blog about my Sky Dreamland event also with GVE and another cool project I recently had with them where I was a motivational speaker on leadership & personality development for a multinational brand's sales representatives! Can't wait to blog about those soon!
I am so blessed to regain my strength a little after two weeks, after my sudden appendectomy that I was still able to make this gig! I was quite glum that I had to let go of a few hosting jobs due to my appendicitis but I am better now and back in my game! In fact, this month has been crazy, I have a backlog of 20 events done, as I write this blog post.
This fantastic event was held in Marquee Mall Pampanga and as usual, the crowd was great! Just had to take a selfie with them in the background as Tectonix did their thing onstage, making the kids and the kids-at-heart go on a balloon rampage! I did too!
Games, games and more fun games! And a lot of dancing too, with this chubby and really tall Cherifer Kid! He is number one, like Cherifer!
But my favourite kid? This one below, proudly wearing JESUS, our Lord & Saviour, the One True God on his shirt, my forever love. Then this other li'l boy who joined us for this photo was welcome though he was shy and didn't tell me his name. What a cute coincidence that they got the same balloon freebies (balloon sword, shield, helmet) during the performance of Tectonix - the most colossal balloon act in the Philippines!
Jazper and I hosting this beautiful event for families, with almost a thousand attendees! I hope Jazper would agree with me when I say that it was so light working with him and we are the best tandem ever. Loved working with this funny man, Cherifer Jazper!
Our energy that day went something like this...
Hope you liked reading about our genuinely fun and wacky experience! You'd make me so crazy happy as this photo above if visit these other links below too... Keep creating genuine fun!

Glam-o-moms unite for Smart Parenting's "All about school age kids" workshop!

It's that very special time again, when moms unite to break the internet with social media posts with the hashtag #SPMomWorkshops ! I will be forever be thankful to the Summit Media team (Smart Parenting, Good Housekeeping & Yummy) for their trust! This time, I get to host the Smart Parenting Mom Workshops: All About School-age kids!
Moms just wanna have fun! My favourite line when it comes to mommyhood is this: "A mother can take the place of any other, but nobody can take the place of a mother." I am proud to say that I am very much my son's father as I am his mother. I am also his playmate, teacher, best friend, nurse, travel buddy and more (including spoiler, which I've been struggling to fix for years now). I thank God every moment with endowing me with so much talent and blessings. I pray He grants my handsome, kind-hearted (albeit still very shy) boy the same if not more blessings as he lives his beautiful life and grows into the man that God has intended for Him to be. I pray no matter what path he chooses, I am able to inculcate humility, wisdom and perseverance in him and most importantly - that Jesus Christ directs His path, and he succeeds in all his hopes and endeavours.
I also had the honor of emceeing the very first Smart Parenting workshop about babies and toddlers. Read back about it by following this link: Marylaine Viernes: Smart Parenting's All About Toddlers event
This truly empowering and humbling parenting workshop focused on fostering healthy habits ranging from creativity, resourcefulness when it comes to school work and financial literacy...
Would greatly appreciate it too if you could LIKE and SHARE Marylaine Louise Viernes Official Facebook Page and don't forget to click on these links below too for more of my many adventures as an events host! Thank you.

Fun with Skipper and a million more reasons why I love Giant Carrier!

Skipper and I have always had a very special connection since I first met him at the Baby Company Grand Baby Fair which I am blessed emcee annually. Now, I can say that Skipper and my good friends from CLC Marketing Ventures are truly close to my heart; superb people who are also behind the most excellent baby essentials, GIANT CARRIER, and furniture that truly make Home Sweet Home, HOME SUITE!
Photo above: Giant Carrier's SKIPPERTASTIC Intergalactic Game!
And I was able to embrace the love and support of Skipper and our generous friends from Giant Carrier and Home Suite through one of the few events I organised and truly close to my heart: Galactic Mission 7! Photo below was after the Skipper-tastic Intergalactic Game, with the awesome Giant Carrier team still hard at work! More than giving balloons, they were distributing smiles and happy memories!
Held last May 29, 2016, this event served as a venue for me and my mommy friends to speak about our passions and causes, and most of all it became a celebration of my son's 7th birthday too (the third time for him to celebrate his 7th year of life and love). He brings me so much joy and strength... precious photo below features the beautiful daughters of Mommy Blogger & Mompreneur Chai Castro Galapon of www.chaicgalapon.blogspot.com and Mommy Blogger Jaimie Felix of www.themermaidinstilettos.com Look at those beautiful smiles!
Can't help but fall for these awesome DIY booth elements at the Giant Carrier and Home Suites Galactic Mission 7 event booth! Such awe-inspiring effort! So, are you Team R2-D2 (Team Home Suite) or Team BB-8 (Giant Carrier)? I am certainly both! Because they have something for both the babies & kids and the adults!
Check out the Stormtroopers in their cool Giant Carrier wheels! These are First Order Stormtroopers in first class Baby & Children products!
Many thanks to Giant Carrier for all the love and support along with your tremendous effort during the #GalacticMission7 ! For more information about Giant Carrier, Home Suite and their sister brands, visit the website of CLC Marketing Ventures today:

Diamonds are forever: Celebrating HGS-Aetna's 10 year partnership and beyond

It's been a while since my last post; I've been experiencing so much blessings; growth in my day job, and an ever-exciting weekend and evenings as an events host (Read: fully booked for the entire summer, this weekend, I even had to let go of three other hosting offers, huhuhu) and something tells me, it will be one busy season too, even after the summertime! Plus, I have gotten to organize a few parties, too! Sure, I don't have the luxury of rest but getting to do what I love, and especially for the people I love and respect makes all the hard work worth it! Exciting times up ahead; I can't and won't slow down.
This Diamond Night was held at the Crimson Hotel Alabang... and I had a blast walking on the red carpet as with the members of the organisation... we were all meant to shine bright like Diamonds that night... this was what it was all about!
So here I am in one of the previous months' events, where I had the honor and the pleasure of hosting for such a beautiful gala, aptly entitled, "A diamond night: The HGS-Aetna 10th anniversary celebration. This memorable affair is a toast to the decade-long partnership of the country's first-ever BPO Company, Hinduja Global Solutions, and their client, AETNA. I am just so proud because HGS is the first-ever call center to set up shop here in the Philippines!
Thank you so much HGS-Aetna and Sixth Sense IMS for your trust!

The Alog Ka-Partner Awards Night

So honoured was I to emcee for Alog & Co. once more for another unforgettable evening, this time for their 2016 Ka-Partner Awards Ceremony, held at the Alphaland Makati Place, where their most esteemed partners and clients came for a night of celebration and recognition, peppered with fun music and dancing!
The Alog & Co. group is also very special to me as they have been getting to host some of their events annually especially during the holiday season. I am very happy to lead their meaningful awards ceremony, a testament of their humility and grace in spite of being one of the largest and most respected names in their field... Congratulations to ALOG & Company! Wishing you and your distinguished industry partners many more years of success!
Forgive my meagre and amateurish photos as I was unaccompanied during this evening, so I had to resort to asking waiters, random tech supplier guys or whomever I chance upon to take my photos during this event...
Here I was above with the Chairman, Mr. Dionisio Alog, and below at the photo booth with one of their party guests, popular athlete and professional basketball player, Ali Peek...

A wedding, a debut and a hip hop party!

So many hosting jobs have whizzed past; am still trying to find time to extract, edit and compose those posts; for now, let me just share about my latest three events: a mishmash of the most colourful experiences, where I offer endless thanks to God for the chance to be able to do something that I love, growing in more ways than one at the same time. I am so thankful that this festive season was also restful for me; to ponder on what truly matter in my life. I am able to set some of the things I have finally been longing to do, so let me just post three of my most recent gigs up in one release.
Aren't sunsets divinely breathtaking? Here are a few of my photos of 2015 entries.
Let me first begin with this wedding I was truly honoured to host; this truly set the tone for the rest of my year... reminding me to relax and enjoy the moment. Most of my life I have been a road runner (at times even on a rampage), that I take what's essential for granted. My aimless speed, instead of truly taking me to where I ought to be, sometimes ends up in making the road far longer than it was supposed to be, had I chosen to take a step back and revel in the beauty of the moment. So below is my snap of the pre-wedding reception, with God's majestic sky as the backdrop...
I was more than delighted to emcee for this breathtaking wedding, which wasn't tiresome for me at all. In fact, its majestic backdrop, a reminder of the Creator's love and magnificent providence, made me forget any pressures of keeping up with over a hundred guests. Not only that; I emceed this mesmerising event; the unforgettably magical Nacino-Arboleda nuptials, barefoot and toes digging in the sand!
Excuse the extremely rare (in fact this is my first time) bathroom selfie... I just well... felt like a mermaid in my gown. The crazy mind of an event host, when finding herself where she belongs... by the calming, alluring, enigmatic sea!
My stealth shot of Mrs. Arboleda as she made her way towards the awe-inspiring cliffside where she exchanged vows with her husband. Isn't she a vision? Gorgeous at every angle! But what's most beautiful about her is what's within...
And of course, with the beautiful couple... Best Wishes, Alvaro and Bem! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Nacino! I love the love you have for each other! Keep inspiring those around you with Your faith in God, your commitment, and your childlike admiration for each other! Thanks for your faith in me... I am excited for your journey as man and wife.
From memorable weddings, I also had the honour of taking part in such an enjoyable debut! Thank you, Angela and to your Mommy Milba Rutaquio for making me part of your very special night! Here I am below, squeezing beside the debutante... and yes, you can sit with us! Only, there isn't space anymore... LOL. I had a blast; felt as though I was 18 again... This was the 18 debut party I never got to experience back when I turned 18. You are such a beautiful lady, A!
From the long gowns, I step into totally different gear: hip hop, reminiscent of what you see on those Step Up flicks I can't stop watching! Had a blast emceeing for the EDL Group of Companies during their superb Christmas party! I was blown away with Hip-Hoppiness that night! Mary from the Block with my partner, Jay Z, Jay Monterola from TV show, Tukaan. Do I look badass enough?
I give thanks for such a phenomenal year 2015. What I would say is the year of emancipation, conservation of resources, and the year of aligning in gratitude, and Grace... Thank You Lord, and am I looking forward to a greater 2016!

Reliving my Magical & Royal Disney Journey with Frozen's Queen Elsa & Princess Anna! (Part 2 of 2)

Still cannot believe that I had another Disney dream come true, rolling with real live Disney Princesses: Queen Elsa and Princess Anna from the Hit movie Frozen, as we promoted Disney on Ice shows and more! After we posed and played with Princesses from the retail kingdoms known as Forum Robinsons and Robinsons Place Manila (Click here to see my earlier blog post on Disney Frozen Meet & Greet first 2 mall shows at Forum Robinsons and Robinsons Place Manila), we now venture into two other lands only brave souls dare go (as these are both awesome shopping havens) - Robinsons Magnolia and Robinsons Galleria!
Let me start with our super memorable Robinsons Magolia leg. To view my Disneytastic Youtube video clip in action as the events host, click this link below:
Now comes my Robinsons Galleria leg for the Frozen Meet & Greet, where I had oodles of fun playing games with the Disney Princesses-in-training, who played games with us before meeting and chatting the lovely ladies of Arendelle... I also shared the stage with the talented American ice skating superstar, Phoebe Flynn!
Even with my growing number of new friends and acquaintances, I still value my old friends very much. So happy to see my beautiful friend Karen. Her husband, DJ is a superb Chef who also takes part in cooking shows at Robinsons malls!
Move over, Elsa and Anna: Meet Karen and DJ's lovely and loving daughters, big sister Kirsten Dana and Baby Kailee. These two beautiful faces are Princesses-in-the-Making! They can sing Frozen songs as great as Elsa and Anna!
Fun time with these sets of Princess sisters; time to sing my all-time fave Frozen song: For the first time in forever...
Speaking of Arendelle, here's another Trivia: This fictional kingdom is most likely based on the Norwegian town of Arendal. And it is nice to note that the "eternal winter" theme of the movie might pertain to the reality in Norway, where winter lasts for 8 to 10 months! Now here is another country I must see in this lifetime! I would love to see this new world, meet new people, dive into new cultures. Won't mind the eternal winter here, for I agree with Elsa that, "the cold never bothered me anyway..." Thanks for visiting; don't forget to click my other links below:
Just like Anna and Elsa, may we all realise that we are Princesses, or even a Queen deep within! Just find your kingdom... I know where my kingdom can be found; it may be a long, arduous journey, with an "eternal winter" between me and this kingdom... but I know I will be there sooner than I hope as I seek out my relentless summer within... Cheers to such a wonderful and rewarding 2015, and I praise my God, who has revealed to me wonderful things this coming year. Praise be to my loving God the Father, the Source of my life's abundance... Praise be to The Word Incarnate, my Saviour, His Son, Jesus Christ... Praise be to my eternal guide and companion, the Holy Spirit now and forever. May God's Will lead me toward my hopes and dreams (both dreams I consider to be stepping stones and the dream that is my Destiny) through the intercession of my Mother, Mary. Amen.
