Colours of summer at the SM Kids Fashion Casting Call SM Makati runway show!

Don't you just love the colours of summer? For me it's the best time to be all pretty and trendy! I land another exciting SM Kids casting call fashion show gig, but first off, let's take a look at my first ever casting call event, with my handsome, beloved boy, Godric Matthew as my very special guest; simply click on this link that follows below:
With the adorable graduates of this batch... they didn't only strut their stuff I also got to teach them. While I am no expert in fashion or modelling, I can certainly teach a thing or two about confidence especially as I've been an events emcee for a decade or so now! And here's the sole video I have of the event after mentoring the kids, I had to get them to fall in line properly for their moment:
There's just so much love and joy everywhere! Just look at these kids...

All things dreamy and nice: hosting for The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice (Part 2)

Wow, it's that time of the year once again when I get to host for the mall tours and promotional activities of Disney on Ice! It's a miracle that I still got to fit into my mermaid outfit... sigh... what I would do for Disney... and for that little girl inside of me (I don't mean inside my belly... excuse me as we mermaids just ate a little too much):
The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice mary-the-host
Here I was in my Princess Ariel inspired look as I welcome everyone with my signature energetic show opening! I just love being part of the wonderful world of Disney on Ice!
Here's a video of me as I introduce Skate-sational Disney on Ice senior skater who portrays adult Simba... Mr. Michael Helgren!
For the first time in forever, (the first two days at least), I got to attend an exciting Disney on Ice Masterclass, with no less than the awesome Disney on Ice professional skaters / performers as our instructors! Please check out my earlier post right here:
But that's not all! This third and last day was just so magical for me for we also had a meet & greet with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, plus this handsome little Jedi... perhaps you recognize him? My very own Star (minus the Wars)!

Plus check out these cute sisters right here staring and waving at me in my mermaid outfit backstage as I waited for my turn to be onstage again... these are the moments that make me so happy and thankful to be given the chance to be such a busy events host!

Magic and Masquerade at the Panalpina GBS Christmas and 2017 Kick-off Party!

I am so blessed to emcee for Panalpina GBS once again! This year's mesmerising kick-off party, which also served as the company's Christmas and Thanksgiving gala was held at Blue Leaf Pilipinas, City of Dreams, boasting of such a meaningful and exciting program that was vibrant from start to finish. Masks, anyone?
The night was all about good news, how the company has achieved their targets for 2016, and is even gearing for expansion this 2017. And why not, with the excellence, dedication and vision of their leaders? In fact, here I am with one of Panalpina GBS' head honchos who had opened the night with a beautiful prayer:
And now, please watch this clip as I did my opening spiels... I still  love reminiscing about this dreamy night...
A big hug to Paramint, led by husband and wife, Jan and Nikita Paola Sebial! They are top of mind when it comes to events organization, conceptualization and even creatives and stage design... just look at the perfect execution of Panalpina's White Masquerade Ball theme! Such a joy to work with Paramint and Panalpina. Speaking of, joy, here I was in a candid shot with another one of the head honchos of the company during one of my floor interactions during the program:
Lastly, I closed the program with my favorite story, my gift and expression of thanks to the company for again believing in me. This story never grows old; I never get tired of repeating this countlessly in most of my events, with the hope of stirring someone's soul. Hope you never get tired of me saying this captivating Christmas story too...
You can see how I just loved to dress up for this occasion! My gorgeous dress from www.marthenamercier.com topped with my my dainty blue butterfly mask to gel into the masquerade look. But to complete my look, I did my own hairdo; did this rushing from an earlier event that day to make it in time for this one. And with my eyes closed. This is the finished product, viola! I hope you like it! Doing my hair and makeup is always a hit or miss, but this braided, weaved up 'do was good enough for me. Oh, the life of an events host... always on the road!

Row, row third time in a Row! So honored to be emceeing for the Augustea Crew Conference 2016!

It's that time of the year again...when I get to be master of ceremonies for the Augustea Ship Manning Philippines! I've had the honor for the first time two back to host the first-ever Augustea Crew Conference, and I this 2016, I am so blessed to be their emcee for the third consecutive year! Indeed, I praise God every single moment for the ability to host events; being a host and speaker is one of my greatest passions; I get to harness my speaking, writing, reading and listening abilities. Plus, it's so wonderful to meet inspiring people along the way. Here's the sole video clip I had during the event where I opened the socials night after moderating a whole day of learning about the latest news on the shipping industry, along with meaningful highlights of the program:
Things simply get grander and grander each year! So let;s hark back to the awe-inspiring conference of 2015; please visit last year's blog post: Sailing towards Success: Augustea Crew Conference Year 2! And while we're at it, let's also read back to the very first time I have emceed for Augustea; this was my blog post way back in the year 2014All Aboard! Augustea's First-ever Crew Conference.
Apart from this year's empowering topics and trends for the seafarers and crew of Augustea Ship Manning Philippines which were all assisted by an awesome, hi-tech hologram presenter, the company also gave out scholarships to some of the deserving children of the crew members, and recognised the dedication and loyalty of the crew during the service awards. Below, shows me enjoying the delightful dinner during the socials night! I am so happy to be with the beautiful president of Augustea, Ms. Mary Grace Labrusca Terrei who has now become a friend that I truly love and admire; kind-hearted, generous and true. She's so easy to work with, so appreciative and I will be forever thankful for her trust. Also with us is Ms. Venice Labrusca Terrei, another one of the 4 lovely daughters of the company owners, Captain Niccolo Terrei and Madame Procerfina 'Procy' Terrei.

'EATS' the most wonderful time of the year at the Yummy Magazine Baon Blowout 2016!

EATS the most wonderful time of the year once again!!!
Start the school year with a Baon Bang! Yes, so glad to be part of the start-of-the-school-year hullabaloo as I had the honor of emceeing Yummy Magazine Philippines' Baon Blow-out event 2016! Held at the Glorietta Activity Center, this was attended by my kind of people - the happy FoodNatics! But first, here's my opening video, as I welcomed everyone to the day's festivities, to walk us all back to this memorable and appetisingly, mesmerisingly Yummy-licious experience...
Here are a few highlights of this Foodtastic Day... loved how 'busog' I was this day! Got to go around the different food stations, one of the many perks of being the event's host! Catch me in a few of my Man-on-the-Street (MOS) segments below:
Talking about perks, check out the fun games I got to play too at one of the sponsors' booths! One of the many reasons why I love hosting events! An adventure each time!
TURNING JAPANESE, YEAH. Daiso makes my heart sing! I also got to bring home a bunch of goodies from Daiso Philippines! Thank you so much Daiso for the cute Bento set!
Yummy Magazine / Yummy Ph + Daiso = Perfect Baon Combination! Shop, Read, Eat, Repeat!

A shower of love and surprises at the Smart Parenting Baby Shower 2015

I am more than blessed to be part of this year's Smart Parenting Baby Shower, held at the luxurious Discovery Suites where over a hundred moms and moms-to-be came for an afternoon of adventure, proving that no baby bump is too heavy to prevent their loving mommies from participating on empowering activities while infanticipating
I met Mr. Aya Laraya who had the most humble presence and spoke unassuming words. But when he grabbed the mic as one of the main speakers, he proved that he was indeed one of the country's greatest financial minds! Speaking in a very straightforward and sometimes comical language that blew us away, he opened our eyes toward the errors and missed opportunities when it came to investing. A breath of fresh air from throngs of insurance agents who claim to be "financial advisors," he helped me reform my take on saving up for my son. See, I like seeing his savings account grow (proud to say he has a hefty amount in the bank, partly his earnings when he was about 1 year old, appearing in  J & J TV commercial, and mostly thanks to my diligence in collecting monetary gifts  from his godparents every year) but now, with my son's blessing and his own words spoken in his sweet six-year old voice, "Mommy, sa Ayala Corporation na lang," we are now gearing to get him some shares in one of the country's biggest and strongest companies.
Also met Ms. Aiza Tabayoyong, Life Coach extraordinaire! She made me and most of the mums there realise the mistakes and shortcomings that we have as moms, but we can always better ourselves for our kids!
I even openly shared how I am too much of a permissive mom, but now, thanks to her opening my eyes, I am striving to be more of a democratic mother; because even my son's best friend believes that I am one of their playmates! And so while I want to pinch and kiss his cheeks when he asserts his royal bratty-ness (which I adore and find so cute) I have realised that it is time to shape him, otherwise his "sense of entitlement" and the fact that he always gets away with things might become inimical to his character and ultimately, his future. So here I am below with my little boss, future shareholder of major companies here in the Philippines! :-)
Every minute of the meaningful and fabulous event was truly a blessing! So happy to be part of this, and I look forward to growing in every aspect, thanks to these amazing experiences, both as a professional and as a mom!
From the bottom of my heart, I thank Smart Parenting Magazine and the exceptional Summit Media events team for trusting me with events especially with themes closest to my heart!

Dreams come alive at the Sky Life Celebrations Fair!

I can never forget the time I fell from the Sky - and into the most beautiful fairy tale party event, all thanks to SKY Life! We have always been Sky Cable subscribers and so I am beyond blessed to be working with them for the SKY Life Celebrations Fair, held at the Rockwell tent, with all the best party suppliers under one roof! Indeed, this is the Life; welcome to SKY Life! Still in cloud 9 thinking about the Celebrations Fair; simply loved everything about it!
Click here for my opening video clip: Sky Life Celebrations Fair Opening Clip
This breathtaking affair was a fairy tale of sorts: Just look at that elegant ceiling - what dreams are made of; princes and princesses galore; so much glee and excitement in store!
I particularly loved this little Prince, who participated in most of the games - especially this CLAW-some Pompom claw-grabbing game! Loved his face paint - thanks to Make Believe Productions!
In my <pink> element... I just had so much fun hosting and meeting a lot of inspiring people! Most of all, I thank my newfound friends: the beautiful Ms. Chrissy Caballero of Sky Cable, and the lovely girls of super efficient Global Visions event team led by Ms. Rachel Titular, Ms. Donna Ramos; loved all of them, Chi, Kikx and more!
Games, prizes and surprises! This unforgettable party was perfect for the entire family! Mummies, daddies, princes and princesses all had a blast!
I told you there were real Princesses!!! Here I am with Princess Anna and Queen Elsa from Frozen! I said I won't LET IT GO (Let them go) down the stage without a photo with them! TRIVIA TIME: Did you know that this animated Disney hit movie was based on Hans Christian Andersen's story, The Snow Queen? Unfortunately, the original version was rather depressing (just like the original Little Mermaid story) but thanks to Disney - they made the movie adaptations kid friendly - and of course the sounds in the track - ringing in our ears for all eternity!
Another new colleague-friend who gladly sent me these nice photos - Rox Puno, photographer and artist-singer extraordinaire! If not for your remarkable lens style (and generously lens-ding (lending) me your superb snaps), I wouldn't be able to create this post; my heartfelt thanks to you!
Oh, and before I forget, to all the ladies out there... meet Prince Charming! I dub him my newest younger brother; his voice is so phenomenal, he looks so dashing but most of all, he has a very kind heart and I wish him all the best as a total performer! Wait, so if he is my brother from a Royal mother... that must mean... I am a Princess too! Yipee! My dream finally came true, thanks to Sky Life!
The SKY's the limit... this is the (SKY) LIFE... Fairy tales and dreams do come alive! I am so thankful to live one of my many dreams - to be an events host!
Reach for your dreams... reach for the SKY! With hard work, commitment, discipline and Prayer ... you will be (C)able to achieve all you want to! And never forget that dreams don't turn into reality overnight... nothing is ever achieved at the touch of a button. The only thing in this world that gives us lasting satisfaction at the touch of a (remote control) button - is Sky Cable! All of your favorite shows and more; so subscribe today!
Thanks for dropping by...

School is Super Cool with the Total Girl School Tour!

Total Girl Talk is Back! And this time, we've got more surprises for everyone! I've blogged about my adventures with Total Girl last year, and also our TG (true gear) for school - Post-It and Scotch goodies by 3M Philippines, so let me just share the highlights of our recent fun TG party at Angelicum College...
Back in the zone... I have always dreaded the thought of going back to school; I'd even have nightmares of still being in College (far from graduating) all because I have always sought to be independent and to reach for my dreams, like a hatchling raring to finally fly. But thanks to TG, the li'l girl in me is starting to love school again...
I love this - one of the slides of my fellow TG ate and speaker, the lovely and inspiring Ines Bautista Yao who spoke about reaching for your dreams! I am so glad that I have been living one of my dreams - and that is to be an events host! And the best part is that I am able to do it, have fun, learn and earn plus meet wonderful people while I work on my other big dreams...  I am truly thankful to the generous Father for all my amazing blessings!!!
Such an awesome day! Like these gals, I got so caught up in the energy and fun during this remarkably fun day!!! I guess here, I was trying to coach these adorable TG's as they made their dream boards!!!
Thanks for visiting...
