And thus the third and final post in this series, about our fun summer-tacular Philips Kulinarya road show is no less than the grand time that my Philips kitchen cooking partner, Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen and I had at San Lorenzo Village Makati...
We are at it again! Our funny, quirky tandem really works! It's where a pro (Nancy, of course) gets to work with a total noob in the kitchen (me, of course)!
But while Nancy Lumen is a pro and I am not... we both rely on one thing... our sturdy, trusty Philips Kitchen appliances!
And look how hard at work I was! The dedicated apprentice slash host/master of ceremonies. This is not just a super cool job, it's also a chance for me to learn from the best... Miss Nancy and Philips!
Check out the big crowd at San Lorenzo Makati... I think this is the biggest audience we've had for our Philips Kulinarya so far!

And now, as always, time to give away some fab Philips kitchen appliances as prizes...

But if you want to read about our cool-inary time at Valle Verde, simply scroll down or follow this link: Marylaine Viernes hosts for Philips Roadshows: Valle Verde.
Love team. And I thought that the legendary culinary queen of the Philippines, Miss Nancy Reyes Lumen and I were partners... but look what, or who she's got here... cheeky Miss Nancy adds some spice during the raffle draw...
And I am not just the event host / presenter... I am also a product showcase assistant... check me out helping prep the items for the much-awaited Philips appliances raffle draw...
And it's a wrap! Thank you, Philips for such a fun time! Miss Nancy Lumen, my cooking partner and I with the events team and real-life partners, Carl and Earl... sweet!

Kitchen KOOL: Philips Kulinarya tours and cooks for uptown Manila!

The quintessential kitchen. Powered by Philips. Welcome to my Kulinarya Kitchen post where we all get to look back at the colours, flavours of this dreamy summer season...
The cooling colors of summer. What could be cooler than matching superb culinary talent with state of the art kitchen appliances from Philips? I am so blessed to cook and learn from the best: Philips and Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen as we visited various gentrified communities in the Metro! In my threefold blog post about our Philips Kulinarya adventures, I will write about our fun day at Valle Verde Pasig, and then Tierra Pura, and last but not the least, in San Lorenzo Makati!
Photo above is my candid "backstage-helping-the-guys-prep-up-the-cooking-demo-area" pose... Excuse the summer bead of sweat! Sweaty and the show hasn't even started yet! Let's reminisce some more about our awesome cool-inary time with the wonderful folks over at Valle Verde with Philips resident super cook, Ms. Nancy Lumen and her team...
I did not only learn so much about cooking but also had fun chatting up with the audience, especially the lucky ladies who brought home only the most amazing prizes from Philips! Check out the glee of this lovely lady who gets to walk away with a Philips juicer... wow!
Time to eat and try out the grub! Leading as the pack of Philips ladies lined up to grab some yummy grub prepared with love by Nancy Lumen in these superb Philips appliances!

Feeling happy and hippy hosting the Global Visions Events Christmas Party!

Now this is Onesie CoacHELLava (One hell of a) party! Welcome to my recap of Global Visions Events' awesome kick-off celebration, with a really cute theme, Onesie-Chella, a music festival-slash-onesie-pyjama-party! First off, here I was excitedly hosting the fanfare with my opening video...
And here having fun with the awesome GVE peeps! I always feel like I am part of one big, warm and happy family each time I get the honor of working with the best events and activation company in the Philippines, GVE! Photo below also shows Sir Pol and Miss Rachel, the owners of the company.
And here I was chillin' with the group during the stand-up comedy act...
And look at that cute festive design!

Celebrating Motherhood at the first-ever Smart Parenting Convention

What an honor it is to be the host of many firsts! Welcome to Summit Media's first-ever Smart Parenting Convention! It is a joy to be the master of ceremonies for an event that celebrates the beautiful journey called 'Motherhood.'
Here I was sharing the stage with gorgeous supermodel and now Super Mom, Miss Kelly Misa-Fernandez as she shares about caring for her son's skin:
Isn't she lovely? She was very sweet too... it was truly a pleasure sharing the stage once again with Kelly, talking all things Baby!
But it wasn't just Kelly because soon (better late than never) gorgeous model moms Nicole Hernandez and Patty Laurel Filart also came by to chat. Special shout out to pretty Patty who I get to work with the most and who is always genuinely sweet to me...
I needed to take part in the shopping action! Off to some of the event sponsors and concessionaires' booths I went...
Of course, all that walking got me very tired and hungry... thank you Karabella for this refreshingly healthy treat! I absolutely loved the Salted Egg Ice Cream! Amazing! But not as amazing as the fact that this is a social enterprise that truly banks on fair trade and business practices along with being a Proudly Filipino brand!
And of course, my happy smile here is all thanks to my dear friend, Noel Romero. He was one of the photographers for the day. I also absolutely love his two sisters, Raquel and Bogee, who I am forever thankful to for giving me a lot of hosting projects! He comes from a family of event organizers... I'd like to add they are one of the best!
And here is the lovely invite that all the moms got and responded to. Look how cute its design is; it truly appeals to all moms and moms-to-be!
And to end this blog post, I'd like to relive this wonderful day... check out my video doing my event opening spiels...

One SMEGtacular time with the finest kitchen range from Italy!

Meet Chef Xander Tanco, the uber talented kitchen legend behind Bizu! See my happy, smug smile as I made a masterpiece of a Pizza? That is not just a smug smile; it is a proudly SMEG smile as my events emceeing / hosting gigs land me another unforgettable time as SMEG Kitchen Appliances celebrates their 10th year anniversary with an intimate get together with one of their top clients, Rockwell Land! Here below with the handsome president of SMEG, Mr. Concepcion and the very lovely marketing ladies...
Here I was during the raffle draw doing what I do best, and that is hosting... but thanks to this event, I also found my passion (and possibly a talent waiting to explode, LOL) in the kitchen! I already hear my siblings disagreeing now, each time I say that I am talented in the kitchen...
I can still hear my siblings screaming, "just stick to doing events, hosting and writing..." LOL. Anyway, thanks to SMEG, the guests and I got to make our very own pizzas by simply piling in as much ingredients as we want on the really cute dough that Chef Xander prepared for all of us. Yes, the dough was amazingly cute and squishy... I cannot describe it in any other way. I was in love with the soft, squishy dough! I couldn't let it dough... please dough not judge me!!! They say you must follow your heart and dough what you loved and I realized I found a new love in cooking too!
And now, here's my video clip encouraging guests to check the products out...
But now comes the fun part... catch me in action! Dough not miss this video!
As you can see in the video below I can dough this all day long...
And thanks to my sister who came to support and take photos, here are a few funny snaps, my behind the scenes photos, the type only your sis can capture... with the wonderful President...
And he caught me! It was such a funny moment! The food was just too good!
Lastly, while the kitchen range and most especially the amazing SMEG oven was the focus of the event, I'd also like to share too how FABULOUS their fridges are... I mean, take a look at these photos. Also, I look different and without makeup yet as these snaps were taken way before the actual event (yes before I got my hair and make up done)... how fashionable and chic are these? I dream of owning one of these someday... soon!
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you felt just as SMEGtacular as I did to be part of this SMEGmorable and SMEGciting event! Visit my Facebook and Youtube pages related to my hosting gigs as well by clicking on these links below:
