Colours of summer at the SM Kids Fashion Casting Call SM Makati runway show!

Don't you just love the colours of summer? For me it's the best time to be all pretty and trendy! I land another exciting SM Kids casting call fashion show gig, but first off, let's take a look at my first ever casting call event, with my handsome, beloved boy, Godric Matthew as my very special guest; simply click on this link that follows below:
With the adorable graduates of this batch... they didn't only strut their stuff I also got to teach them. While I am no expert in fashion or modelling, I can certainly teach a thing or two about confidence especially as I've been an events emcee for a decade or so now! And here's the sole video I have of the event after mentoring the kids, I had to get them to fall in line properly for their moment:
There's just so much love and joy everywhere! Just look at these kids...

Fabulous clothes, smiles and all at the SM Megamall leg of the SM Kids Casting Call!

And it's a wrap! We've just had another exciting leg of this summer's SM Kids Fashion Casting Call, and right at the heart of SM Megamall! Here's two of my videos; notice my crazy hair style! This was the time when I could not decide whether to go through with my really short bob...
And now, for a more serious video, please listen to my Easter tale as I begun to close the program and bid adieu to the little fashionistas and their supportive parents and fans:
And now, going back to my crazy hair do, right after this event I finally had the courage to get it all chopped off... in time for this wild hot summer weather! But I did go crazy several times, deciding whether to make the "cut"... watch!
Here I am at the one salon that was my oasis... Nailogy in SM Pasig! This is my go to place for hair and nail care, massage and all my other cares! They make sure to always take good care of me...

Wearing red and gold: an honor hosting Mr. & Mrs. Dionisio Alog's Golden Wedding Anniversary

It's very rare nowadays to find stories of everlasting love. But the Alogs prove that there is a love that never ends and just grows stronger!
This was what I had the honour to be part of, serving as master of ceremonies for Mr. and Mrs. Dionisio and Ofie Alog for their grand golden anniversary celebration!
And here's another snap with this amazing and ever-youthful husband and wife as they shared their love... in sepia print! Let's hark back to their younger years...
Feeling absolutely blessed that they entrusted this very special moment in their lives to me, I gave this momentous celebration my very best! Watch me opening this affair:
Now here's a clip for my usual pre-program voice over spiels:
Set at the Palms country club, everything was glittering and grandiose, but the lavish set-up was nothing compared to the love that these two shared! Plus they had superstar Jun Polistico perform! What a night! We had dinner together and he shared tips on how to take care of my voice. This world-class Filipino singer is amazing; his voice remains the same as before, if not better!
I am so inspired by the golden Alog couple for not only do their love shine through, but they also have three wonderful children who have happy marriages, and hopefully lasting like theirs! And I am so thankful again for another chance to dress up! I'd like to think this is my formal "DARNA" look:
I think this is a very classic Darna inspired formal party look, right? Please indulge me as I take some OOTDs. Doesn't happen everyday, I swear!
Long red party gown + gold accents = thankful for the excuse to glam up while doing what I love and getting paid handsomely too!
Thank you, Lord for the chance to serve as master of ceremonies for this very important day in this couple's lives. May they continue to impact more people with their kindness and fidelity to one another. May I be able to emulate the love and loyalty they have; it's unlike any other!

With my brilliant blue hair I lead all Barbie girls to this summer's Dreamtopia Journey!

This summer lends an electrifyingly exciting hue as I break from the pink and go all bedazzling blue! Welcome one and all to Barbie's unforgettable Dreamtopia Journey! Feel my signature electric Barbie blue energy; here's my opening salvo:
Lovely moms and their li'l Barbie girls got to join in on the magical runway fun during our fashion parade, where twinning Barbie mommies and Barbie girls sashayed down magical the Dreamtopia stage for an unforgettably enchanting time!
And I also got snaps of the backstage action, like this one where I was doing my voice-over spiels, summoning all fairies and princesses of Barbie's magical kingdom!
Adorable Barbie babies greeting me backstage, sans my magical blue hair! Oh my! Now they saw the real me, when I am not Tita Barbie...
Within the iconic Barbie box featuring the real me: my messy, chopped hair and my running shoes. I am always on the go! For those who truly know me, they know that hosting and speaking is my drug! The opium that gets me high all day! When my 'hosting high' wears off, you see me looking forward to my next exciting events hosting gig or speaking engagement...
I am the original Filipino Barbie girl, at it for Mattel and Barbie events for a decade, since 2008. I am a Barbie girl para sempre...
In this video I reveal what's truly been burning since I was a child. Not a lot of people know that I am a writer. I get by today with hosting as it is my love and passion, but I know it is not my destiny. Catch me open my heart to my fellow events emcee, Jazper Tiongson who came as one of the judges and guest vloggers for this event:
One day I shall bow out of hosting to fulfil my ultimate destiny. But for now, I grasp my mic for as long as I still can. I am getting older, but still at it. And why not? Barbie herself, born Barbara Millicent Roberts in 1959 continues to be a timeless icon even if she's only a year shy of being a sextarian, this 2018, Barbie celebrates her 59th birthday!
Thanks so much Sir Shan who first discovered me to be the Barbie host and also to Ate Josie above of Richprime / Mattel Philippines! And to close, here's a look back of some of the events I've done for Barbie through the years; I can't put them all as I'd flood up this entire page if I include all the links to my past Barbie events, so below are just my top 3 favorites; the most memorable Barbie events I've emceed for:
Don't forget to click on the following links below too, Barbie girls!

Meeting stars Julie Anne San Jose and Mike Tan as I emcee for Miniso SM Center Muntinlupa!

And I am back in my bright red dress as I get ready to emcee for another exciting MINISO Japanese Designer event, this time for MINISO SM Center Muntinlupa! Like the fans of our celebrity guests, Julie Anne San Jose and Mike Tan, I had to take another snap... this one's a less zoomed version... Can you say Japan-nice?
And since I was the event's host, I get to have first dibs in taking endless selfies with these two stars... it's great to be the master of ceremonies!
And now, here are a few videos of myself in action... watch as I lend my high energy during this awe inspiring store opening!
Here I was introducing Starstruck Alum Mike Tan who serenaded the ladies who came to see him and fall in love with him all over again...
And now here I was explaining the Kagami Biraki tradition, one of the most special highlights of this grand opening...
Not only did I get to take selfies with Mike Tan and Julie Anne San Jose; I also got to interview these two... click on the video below to watch!
Can you guess which fashion accessories in the following two photos below I got from MINISO? HINT: All of them! I just love these lovely items that all come at an amazingly low price tag! And it's all only at MINISO!
Thanks for dropping by again today; please do breeze through these other sites below, to learn more about the phenomenal experiences that I continue to gain as a seasoned and established events host! I absolutely love my craft and am thankful to do what I love!

What's up, Catsup? Welcome to the first and only Catsup Museum in the World... thanks to Nutri Asia!

Welcome one and all, to the world's first and only Banana Catsup Museum! Congratulations to NutriAsia, Inc.!
Thank you so much for letting me serve as master of ceremonies for this one-of-a-kind affair! Here I was posing with the #Bananions after the program and right before our fun and unforgettable tour...
This blog post is one of the longest if not the longest I've ever published here because of three things: I absolutely loved and enjoyed every moment of this hosting gig, this is a special event because I got to bring my son along and lastly, there are just too many cool photos taken and totally awesome trivia learned at the Banana Catsup Museum tour that I just have to share here! Stuff that blow your mind and make you proud to be a banana catsup loving Filipino at the same time!
Going Bananas. Who wouldn't love posing right here at the museum foyer? It's raining bananas... because here (and in our kitchen), bananas reign supreme! Reach for the stars! Yup, bananas (and banana catsup of course) are the shining stars in this museum!
The quirky banana catsup factory... you will be so enthralled! I wonder where my son is hiding... we're supposed to head to the Orosa Hall now. Hmmm, where could that cheeky boy be?
And here we were, as you can already see, at the Maria Orosa Hall. Maria Orosa wasn't just an amazing cook and food tech; she is heroine who concocted superb catsup made from bananas during World War 2, and she also helped save and nurture tons of lives during those very difficult times! People like her make me truly proud to be Filipino!
Banana Catsup puts the "YUM" in Museum! My Matthew going crazy over the replicas of yummy grub which you can pour your banana catsup on... he loves burgers in real life, and here in this museum too... Can you say MuseYUM! Hope to see you all at this awe-inspiring MuseYUM!
My little superhero defending the banana catsup making machine from the evil fiends of the Bananions... the Rotten Tomatooks who want to take away all the bananas so we can no longer make any more banana catsup for they do not want to share catsup supremacy with the hard-working, cheerful Bananions! Oh, why can't we all just be friends?
I absolutely love UFC, but as for my son, he just loves his Papa... Ketchup! Both UFC, Papa and even Jufran banana catsup are all proudly made by Nutri Asia. And for sure you've all heard the news that they've also acquired Del Monte in the United States about more than two years ago. It really is great to be Filipino!
And yup, like any kid, my son loves fried chicken and pouring banana catsup on his chicken (and also over every fried meal he eats).
Matty and I were totally banana blown away! Like this...
Patiently waiting for his turn to pose like me as I pour catsup on the replicas of another one of hi faves: burger and fries!
But nope, I won't let him have his turn. This photo essentially captures how we fight over the bottle of banana catsup at home. We love each other so much and I am usually generous with my son... but not when it comes to our favourite catsup! This is the Mom versus Kid Battle... or Bottle!
And now, here I was with some of NutriAsia's wonderful big bosses, Ms. Ampy and one of the owners... Special shout out to Sir James Lim of Marketing for letting my little boy join in on the fun; unfortunately we don't have a photo together for this event but I made sure we have a snap together for my second gig for NutriAsia (so please stay tuned).
But here's my very own big boss, my little VIP who probably enjoyed the tour so much more than I did! And I tell you I enjoyed it a bunch... get it? A (banana) bunch!
To end, let me quote the very words of my life's greatest love, in his catsup-crazy-drunk words in the photo below... thank You Lord, for my son... thank You Lord for banana catsup!!!
Hope you felt just how bananas my son Matty and I were during this wonderful experience! Thank you so much again to everyone from Nutri Asia and the Mind Museum!
