Sailing and SALE-ing on the High Seas with Baby Company!

I am thankful for the honor emceeing the Grand Baby Fair by the Baby Company, the Baby Specialist! It's my second consecutive year with them, and it is always a delight to meet experts and parents who all share one thing in common - the beauty and joy of being a parent! This year, we had over 200 trusted essentials for parenting and pregnancy under one roof, specifically at the SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall.

As usual, I came in full battle gear, adhering to the theme of the Grand Baby Fair 2014, "Under the Sea." Some of the resource speakers and celebrity guests mistook me for a gypsy, and it was hilarious. The rest of the guests made sure that they commend my Pirate outfit. Above shows me during Day 1 at my opening spiels, then interviewing Dr. Christopher Soriano, a renowned OB-Gynecologists as he talks about tips for new moms about Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond, in a segment presented by Philips AVENT: For the Best Start in Life. 

Of course I my son, who is already 4 years old, will never get tired of playing with TRUMAN the rabbit, the official mascot of Philips AVENT worldwide. I have so many wonderful things to say about AVENT as i remember 4 years ago when I was a new mom, how they helped my son get a great start in life. 

And now we are at Day 2, where I tried to achieve a "Sea Princess" inspired look, with an aqua blue, Aphrodite-cut dress and pearl accessories. I also put a symphony of colored extensions in my hair for that mermaid effect.

I was also able to meet stunning Mom, Cheska Garcia Kramer toting her adorable little boy, Gavin, forming 2/5 of TEAM KRAMER. She spoke about the joys of parenting, and caring for her adorable babies' skin.

Plus there were Rica Peralejo and Daddy Dominic Ochoa who also spoke about the best things about becoming parents. And lastly, FISHER-PRICE brought in their lovely Mom Ambassador, Ms. Audrey Zubiri to talk about the Joy of Learning with her two adorable kids, and also shared the happiness of having another one on the way! Having a bun in the oven makes her bloom more than ever! 

Today I had a ton of fun, took home new pearls of wisdom, and grabbed two kids, Baby Bree aka Little Mermaid, and Baby Gavin Kramer... until their moms saw me and took their babies back!

Will be sailing and sale-ing the Megatrade Hall for Big, big discounts on my favorite baby and kids brands for now!  

Fashion has never been this Big! The Mega Fashion Hall Inauguration

I love SM!

This has been my battle cry for the past two years ever since joining this world-class corporation. It also happens too that most loyal patrons who hire me for weekend hosting jobs always pick SM Supermalls as venue 80% of the time.

Last January 28, SM proved there is a lot more to love when they finally unveiled the much awaited SM Mega fashion hall! Like a beacon in EDSA, this new wing catapulted SM Megamall to greater heights!

Welcome to the home of Beauty and Fashion! I cannot wait when they finally unveil global fashion brand H & M soon... Have to wear my battle gear when its doors finally open!

Tons of sweet treats too were ours for the eating... er... taking!!! I just had to pose in front of this tower of pastel French macarons that were too pretty to eat! Below 

shows the goodies BAKED BY ANITA which are the yummiest baked goods I've ever tasted! She was so generous to let us try her Bocaditos and her delightful cupcakes! 

Thank you miss Anita Li for the delightful goodies and for sharing the treasures from your oven, for the world to taste! My Attitude of Gratitude

I thank The Lord for finally allowing me to BLOG. I have spent basically the entirety of my life writing, and I just know that this is what I will keep doing for the rest of my life. So today I also carve for myself a small hollow in Cyber space, to share the things that I love to do and the things I do best! I hope that through this web log, my family and friends somewhat experience the happiness and contentment brimming within, as I am so thankful for where I am now, knowing that I am slowly getting to where God has promised me, while enjoying and being thankful for every single thing and happening in my life!

Photo below shows me and my son Godric when he was only around 15 months old, and on the right is a snap I took just a month ago, he is now already 4 years old!

Where did all this goodness start? When I became a mom of course. This was four years ago, back in 2009 and it was something I did not expect to happen to me so early. I was 22 when I had my son, Godric Matthew. I always knew I was going to have him, but just not this soon. I was driven, ambitious and aggressive but driving 'round in circles. Back then I would push so hard, knock on all doors but it was only when he came, that the Fruit, so to speak,of my efforts, finally blossomed...

He came, put some direction in my life, and like a big fat Angel, punched a hole through heaven and now in my arms, just let the blessings flow right after him.

This Blog - like a child who only hones his gifts, talents and character in time, will for now, take in the form of who I am. I know most blogs only specialize in fashion, some are all about gastronomic adventures and new dining finds... But for now this will take me shape and wear the many hats that I wear too - as an Event Host (on weekends)  a Leasing Manager for the #1 Company in the Philippines, a frustrated chef/foodie/food critic, a traveller, an aspiring entrepreneurial Champ and most of all - a Proud Mommy! I love to travel the world with my son and let him ride on my back as long as I can!!!

I hope that in one way or another I inspire you with my writing, my stories and #Selfies as I send you some good vibes from where I am. Life may not be perfect for me, but I make it a point to brim with Heavenly Energy and Indefatigable Good Vibes and Optimism. Life has sent storms my way, but here I am standing stronger and more Faithful to God!

This is for you, my Son, as everything I do is for you. I love you, my Godric Matthew! God chose to bless me profusely through you, my Greatest Blessing!
